Signs of the Times

(www.RemnantNewspaper.com)  At about the same time that the St. Louis Jesuits began carpet-bombing Novus Ordo churches with their contemporary pseudo-liturgical music, featuring such hits as, And the Father Will Dance, the Canadian rock band group Five Man Electrical Band hit the top forty chart with its song about signs. If the torments of Hell include an endless eight-track tape playing all seventies songs, the damned might prefer the Electric Band to the Jesuits.

The lyrics for the sign song are: Signs, signs, everywhere signs. Blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind. Do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the signs?

One place you will not find many signs is on the lawns of traditional marriage supporters in the state of Minnesota, in which state there is a marriage protection constitutional amendment on the November ballot. On the other hand, you will find anti-marriage signs nearly everywhere on the lawns of those who advocate same-sex marriages and unions. In the midst of these anti-marriage amendment signs are many that read, Another Catholic Voting No! It seems these pseudo Catholics are following the lead of the apostate Martin Luther to sin boldly!

A tourist traveling through the state of Minnesota might assume, based solely upon lawn signs, that the opposition to the protection of marriage far outweighs support for it. That is precisely what the enemies of marriage and morality want us to think, and that is why they have been busy about the dirty business of trespassing on private properties for the purpose of stealing pro-marriage amendment signs. They have even dared to steal a pro-marriage sign from the premises of the home base of The Remnant. Is nothing sacred?

No, nothing sacred is really sacred to militant advocates of homosexuality. Not content with stealing signs from homeowners, they have stolen signs from church lawns, scaled church walls to strip marriage banners from bell towers, and defaced many houses of God with graffiti. Still under investigation is a wave of assaults upon some churches that sustained costly damage caused by vandalism. Based upon pro-homosexual, anti-Christian graffiti scrawled upon the walls, authorities suspect these may be hate crimes by homosexuals.

That should be no surprise to Catholics, who are familiar with the vile behavior and violent intentions of the homosexual citizens of Sodom, who intended to rape two angels:

The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of the city. Seeing them, he rose up and went to meet them: and worshipped prostrate to the ground. And said: I beseech you, my lords, turn in to the house of your servant, and lodge there: wash your feet, and in the morning you shall go no your way. They said, No, but we will abide in the street. He pressed them very much to turn in unto him: and when they were come into his house, he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate: But before they went to bed, the men of the city beset the house, both young and old, all the people together. They called Lot and said to him: Where are the men that came in to thee at night? Bring them out hither, that we may know them. Lot went out to them and shut the door after him, and said: Do not so, I beseech you, my brethren, do not commit this evil…But they said: Get thee back thither. And again: Thou came in as a stranger; was it to be a judge? Therefore we will afflict thee more than them. And they pressed very violently upon Lot: and they were even at the point of breaking open the doors.

Now clearly not all homosexuals are violent and those with same-sex attraction who live chaste lives are to be commended. But it certainly appears, based upon ample empirical evidence, that violence in words and actions is a mark of many militant homosexuals. A homicide detective in an inner city area once told me that the bloodiest murder scenes are those that involve male homosexuals upon male homosexuals. Given the PG-13 rating of this traditional newspaper, I will spare readers the bloody details of these terrible crimes.

The fact is, as a filthy tidal wave of support for same-sex marriage sweeps the nation, from the White House to San Francisco, we may now feel much like Lot stuck in Sodom, surrounded by intolerance, violence and perversion. Not content with tracking across our lawns to steal signs, if left unchecked the sodomites will soon be pounding on our doors, demanding, “Send out your home-schooled children, so that we can steal their souls!”

The ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are long gone now, buried deep beneath the deadest sea of water on the planet. It was a divine punishment upon these two sin cities in which not even ten moral men could be found. But the sodomites have found a new home from which to spread their deadly moral virus of corruption: the Democratic Party.

Based upon its 2012 platform, it appears that the Diabolical Party has yet to encounter an intrinsic evil that is not to their liking. Their platform includes tax funded abortion on demand, right up until the moment that a child is born; free access to contraception, sterilization and abortifacients for all women, funded by employers; universal recognition of same-sex marriages and laws that forbid gender discrimination against LGBT freaks.

Among the DNC speakers who spoke on Reproductive Rights was Nancy Keenan, President of NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League Pro-Choice America):

On behalf of NARAL Pro-Choice America—and our one million member activists—I am honored to be here to talk to you about what’s at stake for women in 2012. I am proud to say that the Democratic Party believes that women have the right to choose a safe, legal abortion with dignity and privacy.

Following Keenan, in what some have described as one of the most memorable speeches of the week, the First Lady took the stage to speak about women’s repro-rights as well:

He [Barack Obama] believes that women are more than capable of making our own choices about our bodies and our health care. That’s what my husband stands for.

And that is what the Democratic platform stands for: abortion, sterility, homosexuality. The single mention of God in their ungodly DNC platform is nothing short of sacrilege.
