REMNANT COMMENT: Who isn’t confused by this sad pope of ours.  In fact, I’m beginning to suspect that anyone still defending Francis the Great is either personally compromised in some way (and enjoys having his cake and eating it too) or is simply doctoring up the spin as he goes along in order to protect some franchise, be it a television network, a website, a blog, a newspaper or just a professional reputation as a mainstream commentator always running with the cool kids. I struggle to comprehend how any serious person can be both a sincere Catholic and a genuine fan of Pope Francis.

We hear you, Father Lombardi. We’re all a bit confused by Pope Francis and his self-loathing Catholic fan club.
