This cop is a flyboy. He should be off the force. Knowing he’s in no real danger, he’s obviously putting on a big show of the tough guy cop thing. The situation might very well have ended peacefully and a lot sooner had the cop taken a couple of deep breaths and stopped cursing out the neighborhood kids with every four-letter word he could think of. By the way, is that an intentional (and utterly unnecessary!) combat roll he does in front of the camera at minute 0:06? Oh, I think it is!
Granted there’s a huge problem with crime, violence and social unrest in our cites ever since the family broke up, fathers became absent, the pop music industry got into prison chic and gangstas, and public school geniuses decided young people cannot be disciplined.
Cops are fighting a losing battle, trying to keep law and order in cities that are engineered to be lawless by people who don’t recognize God’s laws or the laws of nature. But cops like this are also part of the problem.
The guy cannot command their respect because deep down inside he’s afraid, he’s arrogant, he’s a bully and he suffers from an obvious lack of maturity.
In most cases, I side with the cops…but not this one. This is an suburban pool party with a bunch of kids who are not living in poverty and are obviously not hardened criminals. But the cop is behaving like he’s on a movie set. In his little mind he’s breaking up a Crips and Bloods drug deal in Del Rey South LA.
Chill out, Dirty Harry, it’s a pool party full of 15-year-olds. Earn their respect, command it, and for heaven’s sake stop cursing at them. I’m not suggesting the kids in the video are without fault. Something was obviously going on. But this cop took a bad situation and, with the cameras rolling once again, made it much worse–which is the last thing good cops need just now.
Don’t get me wrong–cops in America right now are under attack and for all the wrong reasons. They are having their hands tied by far-Left liberal loons inside government and out–maniac racists like Al Sharpton, for example. The war on home-grown police seems destined to pave the way for federal (or even foreign) troops to be brought in to “keep the peace” in our cities and the Left can finally celebrate their long-awaited utopia where absolutely nothing is allowed.
By and large, home-grown American cops are good guys. But there are plenty of exceptions, and cops like this nutter need to grow up and stop feeding a fire that, if it is not brought under control soon, will ultimately give rise to the police state in America.
