Pope Francis laid to rest

No hint of the fear of God, Judgement, salvation, or REPENTANCE, which is at the heart of the preaching and religion of Our Blessed Lord. This is an utterly different emphasis—nay, different religion—of Universalism.

Cardinal Re was pretty amazing at 91, doing all w/out any help (save stairs) with a strong voice. Lovely to hear the chants, (why can’t the Deacon sing the magnificent traditional chant for the Gospel?)

Moving to see the crowds and especially the Eastern catholic bishops.

But, like in all Novus Ordo Requiems and preaching, all you need to get to Heaven is to DIE!

At the end of the well enunciated homily there was an explicit mention of Francis interceding for us presuming that he is in Heaven.

A very different religion from the Gospels and Tradition!

… As in all Novus Ordo celebrations there are always elements of the “Lowest common denominator ” never singing the preface or collects (despite Re singing the Per Ipsum in strong and able voice), something that never would have happened in any traditional Pontifical Mass.

How different from the Chartres Pilgrimage in the distribution of Holy Communion—in much rougher terrain-all accompanied with patens under chins, on knees, on the tongue—displaying an explicit belief in the Real Presence.

“By their fruits they shall be known.”

Editor’s Note: The Vatican released a statment on the burial services, which took place after the funeral. The coffin was processed through the streets to the church of St. Mary Major, which Pope Francis chose to be his final resting place.

The Vatican stated: “At 1:00 p.m. Rome time the rite of the burial of the coffin of the Roman Pontiff began. The rite took place according to the prescriptions of the Ordo Exsequiarum Romani Pontificis, presided over by the Cardinal Camerlengo Kevin Farrell, ending at 1:30 p.m.”
