The TLM returns to St. Peter’s Basilica! Cardinal Raymond Burke will celebrate the Holy Mass in the Traditional Roman Rite, on the Altar of the Chair, at 3:00 p.m. on October 25, 2025.
I’ll see you guys in Rome. God bless Cardinal Burke!
From my friend, Father João Silveira, who will speak at the Catholic Identity Conference:
Vatican: Cardinal Raymond Burke will celebrate the Holy Mass in the Traditional Roman Rite, on the altar of the Chair, at 3:00 p.m. on October 25. This Mass is part of the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage, which will take place in Rome from October 24-26, 2025. It will be the first pontifical Mass celebrated at the Basilica of Saint Peter since the 2019 Pilgrimage.
Cardinal Burke had an audience with Pope Leo XIV on August 23, 2025. Burke asked the Pope for the Traditional Latin Mass to return to the Basilica. Well, we now know the answer Pope Leo gave!
