Ratzinger’s “prophecy” and the modernist design

Dear friends of Duc in altum, from a reader who wishes to remain anonymous I have received this contribution that deserves attention and on which we should meditate. It concerns the famous “prophecy” formulated by Joseph Ratzinger in a series of radio conversations for the Hessischer Rundfunk in 1969.

Guarding the Flock: A Canon Lawyer’s Advice to Bishops on Latest Vatican Crackdown on Tradition

New York canonist Father Gerald Murray has said that a recent Vatican document on applying Traditionis Custodes goes beyond what is canonically possible in restricting the celebration of most of the traditional sacraments and that bishops are free to dispense with its disciplinary provisions if they judge them to be unfavorable to their flock.

Concerning a Certain Diocese and the Dangerous Latin Mass (A Letter from Screwtape)

Now let us discuss this opportunity you have with the promulgation of the Motu Proprio Traditionis Custodes (I am claiming full credit for that mockery of a title) and the responses to the Dubia issued by our English friend who covets a red hat. These documents have certainly stirred things up worldwide but they can be of great aid to your sowing of division in that diocese.

The Tragedy of Newchurch

Archbishop Cordileone’s stances are not just confusing, they are contradictory. On the one hand, the archbishop is not pro-choice. He teaches, rightly, that there is no “choice” involved in the lives of innocent children. There is no array of options to include killing a child. “Pro-choice” masks a horror, and His Excellency refuses to compromise on this fundamental point—there is no “pro-choice Catholic” position on abortion. On the other hand, however, Archbishop Cordileone is pro-choice. There are two Masses, and choice between them must be affirmed. It is forbidden to say that A is not B.

Message of His Excellency Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò to Canadian Truckers

Your protest, dear Canadian truck driver friends, joins a worldwide chorus that wants to oppose the establishment of the New World Order on the rubble of nation states, through the Great Reset desired by the World Economic Forum and by the United Nations under the name of Agenda 2030. And we know that many heads of government have participated in Klaus Schwab’s School for Young Leaders – the so-called Global Leaders for Tomorrow – beginning with Justin Trudeau and Emmanuel Macron, Jacinta Ardern and Boris Johnson, and before that Angela Merkel, Nicolas Sarkozy and Tony Blair.

FREE CATHOLIC ITALY: An Appeal for International Cooperation from the Old World

The title of this article has a two-fold significance. On the one hand, it points to that network of people, organizations, and blogs that I want to introduce to The Remnant family; a network that represents precisely what the title indicates: Free—as opposed to Oppressed, Muzzled, Suicidal, or openly Collaborationist—Catholic Italy. On the other, it reveals its members’ goal: to liberate their fellow believers and fellow countrymen from a regime with clearly totalitarian and viciously anti-religious ambitions, making it inevitably anti-rational and utterly inhuman in consequence.

The Silence of Good Catholics Amplifies the Lies of Tyrants

To be fair, most Catholics have found themselves in a near impossible situation of trying to reconcile conflicting realities. As Henry Sire wrote in Phoenix from the Ashes, our Faith establishes a definite presumption that our shepherds ordinarily will not lead us astray:

NY Fire Chief Retires Over Jab, Begs Cdl. Dolan to Stand with His Men

As you may recall I wrote to you last November and I respectfully reminded you that while Churches were closed and we were denied the sacraments, NYC Police Stations, Firehouses, and Emergency Medical Divisions remained opened – despite our own staffing issues caused by this pandemic. And then while you dined at a $5,000 a plate “ Al Smith Dinner” with the mayor who unilaterally implemented these tyrannical mandates, Bill DeBlasio, the cops, firefighters, and EMTs who were working courageously throughout the pandemic at great risk to not only themselves but to their families as well, were being placed on leave without pay, unable now to provide for their families. Governor Hocul was also in attendance at this gala, right after she sent forth her newly found “apostles for the cause”, a month earlier in a Brooklyn Church, instructing them to go forth and preach the “gospel of the vaccine”.
