REMNANT COMMENT: One of our RTV Shorts from last year, America to Boycott the NFL, has well over one million views on YouTube alone. It also has over 12, 000 comments, most of which enthusiastically endorse our call to boycott. Since we produced that video, I have not watched a single NFL football game including the Super Bowl. It’s been wonderful, and I’ve never looked back.

Years ago, I had a priest friend who rose through the clerical ranks of his diocese, to become rector of the Cathedral. How fitting then, that on my return home, I see that the Vatican head of the Congregation of Divine Worship & the Sacraments has just issued a further tyrannical document to tamp down one of the few growing groups in the U.S. Catholic Church today—those of us treated as “second-class citizens”— as Cardinal Castrillon Hoyos (former head of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei ) called those of us who appreciate and prefer the Mass and Sacraments from the books used in 1962 and prior.
