Bishop Richard Williamson died at 11:23 PM London time (5:23PM our time).

His Excellency Bishop Richard Williamson passed away after reportedly suffering a brain hemorrhage four days ago.

I have known His Excellency since he was Father Williamson and, disagreements notwithstanding, he was a man of great faith and intellect and was always more than charitable in his approach, even to those with whom he disagreed, including me.

He devoted his life to the service of Christ’s Church, was ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, and fought tirelessly for the restoration of Christ’s Church and the proclamation of the social Kingship of Jesus Christ.

He was a loyal son of the Church. In your charity, please pray for the repose of his soul.
