The increasing exposure of a Deep State conspiracy to cover up the crimes of Hillary Clinton and undermine the candidacy and then the presidency of Donald Trump with concocted allegations of the non-crime of “collusion with Russia” has produced a state of delirium in the Deep State-DNC-Media complex (DDM). The behavior of the DDM’s operatives is suggestive of something like a vampire’s exposure to sunlight.

Exhibit A is the borderline lunatic John Brennan, who was head of the CIA at the height of the anti-Trump conspiracy now being exposed layer-by-layer. Brennan, who earned a B.A. in political science at Fordham in 1977 (four years after I did, in the same year I earned my law degree at Fordham), somehow rose to the highest position in the “intelligence community” despite having voted for the Communist Party’s candidate for President, Gus Hall, in the 1976 Presidential Election while still at Fordham. Brennan here recounts how he deliberated over whether to attempt to hide his support of the Communist Party when faced with a polygraph examination as part of the process of applying for his first job at the CIA in 1980, only four years after he had voted for Gus Hall.

It is worth noting that in 1980, the same year Brennan was wondering if he could deceive the CIA’s polygraph examiner, Hall ran again for President on the Communist Party ticket along with VP candidate Angela Davis. Ten years earlier Davis had purchased the guns used in the taking of hostages in a Marin County courtroom by a high school student and the two black convicts he had armed with Davis’ guns. One of the hostages, the trial judge, was killed by a blast from Davis’ shotgun. Yet she was somehow acquitted of being an accomplice to the crimes even though she had purchased the guns two days before, the barrel of the shotgun had been sawed off in preparation, and she had been corresponding with one of the convicts who escaped from the courtroom. Brennan was attending high school at the time.

Exhibiting the pathological hatred for Trump that is the mainspring of the entire DDM, the former head spook, who is now “senior national security and intelligence analyst” for fake news NBC and an incessant Twitter blabbermouth, said this about Trump to his Twitter followers:

“When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America... America will triumph over you.”

No further evidence is needed to cast doubt on any “intelligence community” assessment regarding Trump and “the Russians” in which Brennan had a hand. Of course, Trump had nothing do with McCabe’s firing. The DOJ terminated his employment after its Inspector General, one of the few Washington bureaucrats to exhibit a modicum of integrity, documented McCabe’s repeated lies to investigators about his connivance with the media element of the DDM, to which he had orchestrated leaks about the rigged investigations of Hillary Clinton. McCabe is now the subject of the IG’s criminal referral to the DOJ, which, however, is firmly in the clutches of Deep State operative Rod Rosenstein, the outsider Jeff Sessions having fled the scene while remaining titular Attorney General.

It may well have been Brennan himself who conceived of the groundless “counterintelligence investigation” designed to delegitimize Trump’s election as the product of “collusion with Russia.” The plot included the use of Deep State plants sent out by the FBI to create the very “collusion” to be investigated by offering one-time Trump advisors Michael Caputo and Roger Stone Russian dirt on Hillary in exchange for $2 million. (Neither target of the attempted entrapment took the bait.) Hillary, on the other hand, had already indisputably colluded with the Russians by using Fusion GPS to pay for fake intelligence from Russian sources through Christopher Steele, an unregistered foreign agent working for the FBI, who produced the phony “dossier” financed by Hillary and the DNC element of the DDM to the tune of millions of dollars.

The same phony political opposition research, presented as “findings” of the “intelligence community”—probably with Brennan’s assistance—was used to obtain the FISA warrants authorizing Deep State surveillance of Trump advisor Carter Page and through him potentially the entire Trump campaign organization. Thus, the investigation of Trump-Russia “collusion” was based on a dossier Hillary and the DNC had ginned up in collusion with the Russians. The media element of the DDM has systematically suppressed any reference to this untenable absurdity at the base of the entire conspiracy, which includes the endless Mueller investigation being conducted by Hillary supporters, including one of her former attorneys.

Brennan’s sworn testimony before the House Intelligence Committee that the DNC’s politically motivated, patently unbelievable smear job on Trump played no part in the “Intelligence Community Assessment” (ICA) of “Russian meddling” in the 2016 presidential election is belied by former National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers, who informed Congress “that the Clinton campaign-funded memos did factor into the ICA. And James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence under President Obama, conceded in a recent CNN interview that the assessment was based on ‘some of the substantive content of the dossier.’”  What substantive content? We have never been told, because there isn’t any.

The “Steele dossier” is pulp fiction dressed up as an intelligence report. It is just another example of the long history of dirty tricks “the intelligence community” calls tradecraft. “Don’t you trust our intelligence community?” is the DDM’s endlessly televised mantra. Of course we trust it: we trust it to engage in lying and deception, including the lying and deception that launched the Iraq War over non-existent weapons of mass destruction, which cost 5,000 American lives, ruined countless more, sank the entire American economy, and radically destabilized the entire Middle East.

The operatives of the DDM, including those in the media, now present the Deep State’s criminal shenanigans, which would have remained hidden forever had Hillary been elected, as a legitimate exercise of U.S. intelligence-gathering capabilities. And Trump, the very victim of their criminal enterprise, was expected to defend and even applaud their work during the summit in Finland as the test of his patriotism. He was further expected accept as indisputable fact the mere allegations of Robert Mueller’s indictment, based on the claims of the same “intelligence community,” that twelve Russian agents—who will never stand trial and thus, quite conveniently, will never have to be proven guilty of anything—“hacked our democracy,” including a never-produced and never-examined DNC server. We are expected to believe that these Russian agents helpfully left digital fingerprints that allowed all of them to be identified by name, which would have to represent the most inept criminal conspiracy in the history of cybercrime.

There is, by the way, a very good reason Mueller has avoided contriving an indictment of one or more Americans along with the named Russians under the elastic law of conspiracy, a very easy thing for him to do. If an American were indicted, he would be entitled to pretrial discovery of whatever evidence of criminal activity Mueller claims to possess, which is the last thing Mueller wants. In fact, the earlier related indictment of 13 Russian Internet trolls has backfired massively on Mueller now that one of the defendants has unexpectedly appeared in court, represented by a high-powered law firm that mocks the make-believe crimeof allegedly funding free speech Mueller has concocted and is demanding full discovery of the evidence Mueller doesnt have in a case he was never prepared to try. As the Russian defendant’s legal team has observed in a devastating filing in the case: “fake law… is much more dangerous than fake news.”

Trump, in short, was expected to vouch for the reliability of the same Deep State apparatchiks who are laboring overthrow him in a soft coup d’état. In Finland, Trump was defiant. Back at home, however, he “buckled,” to use Tucker Carlson’s word, and offered the required endorsement of “the findings of our intelligence community.” He does continue to deny that he or his campaign engaged in “collusion with Russia,” of which there is no evidence whatsoever, while the Deep State not only ignores but relies upon the results of Hillary’s collusion with the Russians.

To quote Carlson:

Think for a second about what they are demanding. If you don’t automatically accept the imprecise, non-specific, never fully explained findings of shadowy intelligence agencies with long, documented track records of making serious mistakes, you’ve somehow betrayed your country. The very people who assured you that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, the ones who said the Shah would never fall in Iran, etc., etc.—those people must be believed without question or else.

On television this group is called “the intelligence community.” That’s an Orwellian name if there ever was one. Where exactly is this “community” that we hear so much about? Does it have a Zip Code, a public library system, a youth football league? How long before Congress starts demanding unthinking obedience to “the lawmaker community”? It’s a “community,” after all. You must obey it. Dissent is unpatriotic. And if you don’t agree, you’re working for Vladimir Putin. That’s where we’re heading, by the way, and fast.

The delirious Brennan, infuriated by Trump’s initial refusal to vouch for the Deep State bureaucrats who think it their patriotic duty to remove him from office, accused Trump of treason because he did not defend before Putin an “intelligence community” that has been exposed as a co-conspirator with Hillary and the DNC. Quoth Brennan on Twitter:

Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???

The DDM’s delirium now reaches its height as the DDM’s media arm airs the views of “legal experts” who are “divided” on whether Trump’s refusal in Finland to defend the “intelligence community” that has plotted for his destruction constitutes treason under Article III of the Constitution and thus grounds for the impeachment they have all been dreaming about and working for since Election Night.

Treason as defined by Article III “shall consist only in levying war against [the United States], or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.” But the cited “legal experts” deliriously imagine that we are now at war with Russia and that Trump, by being diplomatically polite to Putin in noting his strong denial of yet-to-be-proven “Russian hacking” and taking seriously his offer to allow Muller’s band of Democrat investigators to come to Russia to participate in questioning of the 12 Russians he has indicted, has given aid comfort to our enemy in an imaginary war conjured into existence at the moment Trump became President. We are expected not to notice that this is the same Russia:

1) whose cosmonauts are living and working alongside American astronauts in the International Space Station;

2) to whom Hillary presented a red “reset button,” along with 20 percent of America’s uranium reserves in a sale she approved as Secretary of State;

3) that paid Bill Clinton $500,000 for a single speech in Moscow at the same time Russian interests were funneling scores of millions into the Clinton Foundation during the pendency of the Uranium One deal;

4) whose military adventures in Georgia and Crimea met with no real opposition from Barack Obama;

5) whose then President, Dmitri Medvedev, received this whispered advice from Obama, in front of a hot microphone, concerning Russia’s worries over America’s missile defense plans: “This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility,” to which our “enemy” in the “war” whose existence DDM has just discovered replied: “I will transmit this information to Vladimir.” (Even the DDM’s own “fact-checker” Snopes must admit this really happened.) Putin no doubt appreciated this expression of aid and comfort to our “enemy,” but no one accused Obama of treason.

This is also the same Russia whose alleged “meddling” in the last election was deliberately ignored by the Obama administration before Election Night, with Susan Rice, Obama’s National Security Advisor, even issuing an order to stand downany investigation thereof.   And, finally, it is the same Russia whose disinformation specialists, in return for money, manufactured fake anti-Trump intelligence for Hillary, the DNC and the “intelligence community,” who now unanimously declare that we are at “war” with Russia—a “war” that began only after Russian agents had provided them with the fake intelligence!

One Jens David Ohlin, no less than vice dean and professor of constitutional law at Cornell Law School, deliriously imagines that Trump can now be impeached because “Russia and the United States are on the opposite sides of various armed confrontations in Syria”, meaning “Russia’s backing of the Syrian regime in opposition to the US’ backing of anti-Assad rebel groups.” Since Ohlin imagines that this constitutes war with Russia, being nice to Putin would constitute treasonable “aid and comfort” to “the enemy.”

In their delirium, Ohlin and other such “experts” fail to mention that the United States and Russia have a de-conflictionagreement in Syria under which the military commands of both powers maintain constant communications precisely to avoid inadvertently igniting a war between the two powers as they operate in the same theatre. Under the agreement each party warns the other of military operations that could impact the other’s personnel. This involves, among other forms of military cooperation, “shar[ing] coordinates and other data to avoid midair collisions or confrontations” and a “deconfliction line” that demarks each country’s zone of operation. In fact, “One U.S. pilot flying missions over Syria credited his safety to it [the line] in a recent Associated Press interview.” Moreover, “U.S. military officials have said repeatedly there are other ways the two powers are working to play safe with each other than that line alone.”

Only in the delirious dreams of the DDM can the careful avoidance of war with Russia constitute war with Russia. Only in a state of delirium could a constitutional lawyer seriously propose that the diplomatic remarks of the American president to the Russian president at a summit meeting between the two non-warring powers constitute treason under Article III.

Never has such mass delirium been visited upon the American political scene. They call it Trump Derangement Syndrome. But ultimately this deranged hatred of Trump by the legions of the DDM has nothing to do with his obnoxious personality or his blunt rhetoric. Rather, it has three causes:

First, Trump’s standing as a legitimate outsider applying a businessman’s common sense to the unholy mess they have made of national and international affairs. They live in fear that the SOB will actually succeed where they have failed, thereby exposing their utter fecklessness as a ruling class.

Second, the threat Trump’s policies on business and immigration pose to the continued loyalty to the Democrat Party of a permanent underclass, tied to government benefits, on whose backs the Democrats maintain whatever power they have.

Third, and more deeply, a demonic fury over the prospect that Trump’s policies and Supreme Court nominations will substantially undo the diabolical triad of state-supported contraception, abortion and sodomy that is the moral status quo of their Satanic regime. Indeed, there is no question that if Trump were in full agreement with them on “reproductive”
and “LGBT” “rights”—that is, if he were just another Rockefeller Republican—there would be no plot to undo his election.

In the mysterious designs of Providence we see that Trump, despite his own obvious inclinations to the contrary, has become the leader of a significant movement of resistance to the terminal decline of political modernity in America. How significant that movement ultimately will be is far from certain. We should not be surprised to see it end with a whimper. For now, however, the delirium of Trump’s increasingly desperate opponents gives us reason to hope that what they fear—an overthrow of the mentality they represent and the tyranny it imposes—might actually come to pass. We cannot fail to offer unceasing prayers for that intention.
