Although good men and women of the world will fight the Great Reset until their dying breath, faithful Catholics must at least acknowledge the possibility that God is permitting all of this for our spiritual benefit and will not allow us to “escape” this crisis unless and until we turn to Him.

The situation in the Catholic Church is even worse in the eyes of those who know it to be the institution established by God to spread His truth and grace throughout the world. Although Francis’s October 2019 worship of the Pachamama may be the worst action of his papacy, he has caused an immense amount of destruction since Lent of 2021: he has openly attacked traditional Catholicism through Traditionis Custodes, promoted the various anti-Catholic initiatives of the Great Reset, and convoked the Synod on Synodality to create a “different Church.” As in the temporal realm, most of the Church appears to be worse off than it was two years ago.

Although good men and women of the world will fight the Great Reset until their dying breath, faithful Catholics must at least acknowledge the possibility that God is permitting all of this for our spiritual benefit and will not allow us to “escape” this crisis unless and until we turn to Him. When we consider that the Great Reset would not be possible without the great crisis propelled in the Church by Vatican II, we can see that the worldwide scourge is due to Catholics turning away from God. In that light, can we imagine any solution that is not based on our returning to God with a desire to serve Him alone?

And yet if God will permit the world to descend further into diabolical tyranny unless we return to Him, we will not hear the call for repentance from the Church hierarchy. Indeed, in Francis’s Angelus message from the First Sunday in Lent we cannot detect even a hint that the situation within the Church and world warrants any special efforts to serve God:

"May this time of Lent also be a time of the desert for us. Let us take time for silence and prayer — just a little, it will do us good — in these spaces let us stop and look at what is stirring in our hearts, our inner truth, what we know cannot be justified. “

Francis is not the Church.

Part of the scourge we experience today is that Francis and his collaborators do all they can to convince us that God is not interested in anything more than “just a little” of our attention, even as the world becomes a living hell.

But Francis is not the Church. In this season of Lent the Church’s liturgy tells us more about the current situation in the world, and what we must do about it, than we will hear elsewhere. Even if we do not have the great blessing to attend Mass each day, we can still follow the daily readings from the Missal, which remind us that God is still God, no matter how much the Luciferian madmen running the world seek to usurp Him:

Our Sins Bring Punishment Upon Us. Throughout Lent the Church reminds us that our sins deserve, and bring about, the afflictions we suffer:

“Spare, O Lord, spare Thy people: that whereas they are deservedly chastised, they may find relief in Thy tender mercy.” (Thursday after Ash Wednesday, Prayer over the People)

“Loosen, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the bonds of our sins; and mercifully turn away from us whatsoever we deserve for them.” (Monday of the First Week in Lent, Prayer over the People)

“Graciously hear the prayers of Thy people, we beseech Thee, O Lord: that we, who are justly afflicted for our sins, may for the glory of Thy name be mercifully delivered.” (Saturday of Ember Week in Lent, Collect)

“Grant, we beseech Thee, almighty God, that we who are justly afflicted for our deeds, may be relieved by the consolation of Thy grace.” (Fourth Sunday in Lent, Collect)

“All that Thou has done to us, O Lord, Thou hast done in true judgment: because we have sinned against Thee, and have not obeyed Thy commandments: but give glory to Thy name, and deal with us according to the multitude of Thy mercy.” (Thursday in Passion Week, Introit)

Returning to God is not simply one good path to solve this diabolical crisis. It is the only path.

God is Appeased by Our Penance. We deserve the scourges that God permits to punish our sins, but we can appease God by returning to Him with penance:

“Almighty and everlasting God, Who didst vouchsafe Thy healing pardon to the Ninevites doing penance in sackcloth and ashes, mercifully grant that we may so imitate them in our outward attitude as to follow them in obtaining forgiveness” (Blessing of Ashes)

“Thus saith the Lord: Be converted to Me with all your heart, in fasting and in weeping and in mourning. And rend your hearts and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, patient and rich in mercy, and ready to repent of the evil.” (Ash Wednesday, Epistle)

“O God, Why by sin art offended and by penance appeased, mercifully regard the prayers of Thy suppliant people: and turn aside the scourges of Thine anger, which we deserve for our sins.” (Thursday after Ash Wednesday, Collect)

“May our fasts be acceptable to Thee, O Lord, we beseech Thee: and by expiating our sins, may they render us worthy of Thy grace, and lead us to eternal Remedies.” (Tuesday in Passion Week, Collect)

Are we responding to the crisis in the Church and world as our favorite saints would if they were alive now?

We Must Seek God’s Protection from Our Enemies. The enemies of God seek to destroy us, so we must petition God and make ourselves worthy of His protection:

“O Lord, grant unto Thy people, we beseech Thee, health of mind and body: that by cleaving to good works, they may ever deserve to be defended by the protection of Thy strength.” (Friday of the Second Week in Lent, Prayer over the People)

“In Thine unceasing goodness, O Lord, we beseech Thee, keep safe Thy household: and, since their only hope is to lean on Thy heavenly grace, may the protection of heaven be their steady defense.” (Saturday of the Second Week in Lent, Prayer over the People)

“We beseech Thee, O almighty God, look upon the desires of the humble: and stretch forth the right hand of Thy Majesty to be our defense.” (Third Sunday in Lent, Collect)

“Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: teach me to do Thy will. Thou are my deliverer, O Lord, from the angry nations. Thou wilt lift me up above them that rise up against me: from the unjust man Thou wilt deliver me.” (Passion Sunday, Gradual)

“Grant, we beseech Thee, almighty God, that we who seek the grace of Thy protection, may be freed from all evils and serve Thee with a quiet mind” (Friday in Passion Week, Prayer over the People)

“Judge Thou, O Lord, them that wrong me, overthrow them that fight against me; take hold of arms and shield, and rise up to help me, O Lord, the strength of my salvation. Bring out the sword, and shut up the way against them that persecute Me; say to my soul: I am thy salvation.” (Monday in Holy Week, Introit)

“Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man: rescue me from the unjust man. Who have devised iniquities in their hearts: all the day long they designed battles. They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent: the venom of asps in under their lips. Keep me, O Lord, from the hand of the wicked: and from unjust men deliver me.” (Good Friday, Tract)

Trust in God rather than man. Anything else at this point is a further offense against God and deserves the scourges planned for us by the demonic leaders of the Great Reset.

We Must Choose God. We must trust God, and choose Him over the things of this world: 

“Thus saith the Lord God: Cursed be the man that trusteth in man and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like tamaric in the desert, and he shall not see when good shall come: but he shall dwell in dryness in the desert, in a salt land, and not inhabited. Blessed be the man that trusteth in the Lord, and the Lord shall be his confidence. And he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, that spreadeth outs its roots towards moisture: and it shall not fear when the heat cometh.” (Thursday of the Second Week in Lent, Epistle)

“Brethren, if you be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God: mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ shall appear, Who is your life, then you also shall appear with Him in glory.” (Solemn Mass of the Vigil, Epistle)

This is what God wants us to learn now, before it is too late. Returning to God is not simply one good path to solve this diabolical crisis. It is the only path. Are we responding to the crisis in the Church and world as our favorite saints would if they were alive now?

As we read in the Epistle from the Second Sunday in Lent, God calls us to be saints: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification.” Therefore we must “seek the things that are above,” and trust in God rather than man. Anything else at this point is a further offense against God and deserves the scourges planned for us by the demonic leaders of the Great Reset. May the Blessed Virgin Mary help us to realize this today so that we can begin to fight these demons with weapons they cannot withstand. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray of us! St. Joseph, Protector of Holy Church, pray for us!
