From Vatican II to the Abrahamic Family House: How the United Nations Shaped “His Holiness Francis Church”

Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. (Matthew 28:19-20)

As Michael Matt discussed in his recent Remnant Underground, the opening of the Abrahamic Family House provides yet another concrete indication that Francis’s “church of accompaniment is obviously abandoning the Divine commission of Jesus Christ to go and convert all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and Son, and the Holy Ghost.” As instrumental as Francis has been in accelerating that abandonment of God and His Church, the   demonic blueprint for “His Holiness Francis Church” had already been introduced at the Second Vatican Council, well before Bergoglio was ordained a priest.

Vatican II’s Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World, Gaudium et Spes, cites Paul VI’s October 4, 1965 Address to the United Nations in support of the condemnation of “total war,” but the Vatican II document does not actually name the “United Nations” other than the footnote citation of Paul VI’s address. Instead, the lengthy Chapter 5 of Gaudium et Spes — “The Fostering of Peace and the Promotion of a Community of Nations” — asserts the great need for an international community of nations and urges Christians to support such an international community:

“Christians should cooperate willingly and wholeheartedly in establishing an international order that includes a genuine respect for all freedoms and amicable brotherhood between all.”

Paul VI’s address to the United Nations provided more clarity on what he and the progressives would soon call on all Christians to “wholeheartedly” support:

“The edifice you are building does not rest on purely material and terrestrial foundations, for in that case it would be a house built on sand. It rests most of all upon consciences. . . . The hour has come when a pause, a moment of recollection, reflection, you might say of prayer, is absolutely needed so that we may think back over our common origin, our history, our common destiny. The appeal to the moral conscience of man has never before been as necessary as it is today, in an age marked by such great human progress. . . To put it in a word, the edifice of modern civilization has to be built on spiritual principles, for they are the only ones capable not only of supporting it, but of shedding light on it and inspiring it. And we are convinced, as you know, that these indispensable principles of higher wisdom cannot rest on anything but faith in God.” (Paul VI, October 4, 1965 Address to the United Nations)

Paul VI emphasized the great need for men to follow their consciences, and even mentioned that the “principles of higher wisdom” must rest on faith in God. In hindsight, we now realize the significance of Paul VI having neglected the all-important point that men must inform their consciences with the immutable Catholic Faith entrusted to the Church by God. The immutable Catholic Faith actually stands in the way of the United Nations objectives.

So much of Francis’s war on Catholic tradition appears to be an attempt to move the Church into conformity with these recommendations from the United Nations — is that mere coincidence? Even non-Catholics have opined that he has become the “Chaplain of the United Nations.”

Five years later, Paul VI’s message to the Secretary General of the United Nations elaborated on the role of the United Nations in promoting the unity of the human family:

“There exists in effect a common good of man, and it is up to your Organization, because of its dedication to universality, which is its reason for being, to promote it untiringly. In spite of permanent tensions and unceasingly recurring oppositions, the unity of the human family shows itself more and more in the very rejection of injustice and war and in the very hope of a world of fraternity where people and communities can freely develop themselves according to their material, intellectual and spiritual potentialities.” (Paul VI, October 4, Message to Secretary General of the United Nations, 1970)

Although Paul VI referred to Christ elsewhere in his message, we can clearly discern his acceptance of an agnostic spirituality as the foundation for the “unity of the human family.” Obviously that agnostic spirituality does not accommodate a Catholic Church that insists on what it always taught prior to Vatican II: that (absent extraordinary circumstances) there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church and, as Leo XIII wrote in Satis Cognitum, we cannot reject a single point of our immutable Faith without thereby rejecting the entire religion. Something would have to give.

Nine years later, John Paul II’s address to the Secretary General of the United Nations reemphasized the role of the United Nations in promoting an agnostic human family:

“Your Organization has a special significance for the whole world, for in it the needs and the aspirations of all the people of our planet come together. . . Yes, the conviction that unites us in this common service of humanity is that, at the basis of all efforts, there must be ‘the dignity and worth of the human person’ (Charter, Preamble). It is likewise the human person—every individual—who must make the aims of your Organization come true in the concrete realities of friendly relations, of tolerance, of freedom and harmony for all.” (John Paul II Address to Secretary General of the United Nations, October 2, 1979)

John Paul II said that every person must promote “the concrete realities of friendly relations, of tolerance, of freedom and harmony for all.” Again, this leaves little room for Catholics who take Our Lord’s Divine commission seriously and try to convert all souls to Catholicism.

Francis' September 25, 2020 Video Message to the General Assembly of the United Nations made it clear that he, like so many other globalists, views the pandemic as a precious opportunity to reshape the world.

Given the fact that we can identify such emphatic support of the United Nations' mission and objectives from Vatican II’s Gaudium et Spes, as well as Paul VI and John Paul II, it should come as no surprise that we have seen a push to make the Church more compatible with the agnostic spirituality that forms the basis for “friendly relations, tolerance, and harmony for all.” And, as is so clear in 2023, the enemies of this program are those rigid Catholics who adhere to what the Church has always taught.

In the first decades after Vatican II, the greatest “progress” toward the United Nations’ objectives came in the form of false ecumenism, which put all religions on the same level and thus implicitly reduced Catholicism to one good religion among many. Hillary White’s February 17, 2014 article detailed a new phase of attack on the Church:

“On February 5, the United Nations’ Committee on the Rights of the Child issued a scathing report telling the Catholic Church to leave its outmoded sexual morality behind.”

That United Nations report included the following forceful recommendations for the Church, among many others:

  • “The Committee also urges the Holy See to make full use of its moral authority to condemn all forms of harassment, discrimination or violence against children based on their sexual orientation or the sexual orientation of their parents, and to support efforts at the international level for the decriminalization of homosexuality.”
  • “The Committee urges the Holy See to adopt a rights-based approach to address discrimination between girls and boys and refrain from using terminology that could challenge equality between girls and boys. The Committee also urges the Holy See to take active measures to ensure that textbooks used in Catholic schools do not contain gender stereotyping that might limit the development of the talents and abilities of boys and girls and undermine their educational and life opportunities.”
  • “The Committee recommends that the Holy See ensure that Canon Law provisions recognize the diversity of family settings and do not discriminate against children on the basis of the type of family they live in.”
  • “The Committee urges the Holy See to review its position on abortion, which places obvious risks on the life and health of pregnant girls, and to amend Canon 1398 relating to abortion with a view to identifying circumstances under which access to abortion services may be permitted.”

So much of Francis’s war on Catholic tradition appears to be an attempt to move the Church into conformity with these recommendations from the United Nations — is that mere coincidence? Even non-Catholics have opined that he has become the “Chaplain of the United Nations.”

Fittingly, the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity introduced its plans to the United Nations Secretary General at the end of 2019, between Francis welcoming his Pachamama into St. Peter’s and the globalists imposing their Covid lockdowns to launch the Great Reset.

As has become more evident throughout the pandemic of fear and hysteria, Francis and his collaborators have partnered with the globalists leading the Great Reset to advance these and various other anti-Catholic initiatives. His September 25, 2020 Video Message to the General Assembly of the United Nations made it clear that he, like so many other globalists, views the pandemic as a precious opportunity to reshape the world:

“The pandemic, indeed, calls us ‘to seize this time of trial as a time of choosing, a time to choose what matters and what passes away, a time to separate what is necessary from what is not.’. . . One path leads to the consolidation of multilateralism as the expression of a renewed sense of global co-responsibility, a solidarity grounded in justice and the attainment of peace and unity within the human family, which is God’s plan for our world. The other path emphasizes self-sufficiency, nationalism, protectionism, individualism and isolation; it excludes the poor, the vulnerable and those dwelling on the peripheries of life. That path would certainly be detrimental to the whole community, causing self-inflicted wounds on everyone. It must not prevail.”

Francis praised the “the consolidation of multilateralism as the expression of a renewed sense of global co-responsibility” and insisted that the path of “self-sufficiency and nationalism” must not prevail. As Michael Matt said during his recent Remnant Underground, those who argued that the infiltrators of the Church sought to transform the Conciliar Church into a suitable religion for the one-world government now appear to have been correct all along. The Spirit of Vatican II fueled this entire push toward a one-world religion.

Today, those Catholics who have spent decades defending the Spirit of Vatican II and the reforms of Paul VI and his successors have a new tangible fruit of their efforts with the Abrahamic Family House. Fittingly, the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity introduced its plans to the United Nations Secretary General at the end of 2019, between Francis welcoming his Pachamama into St. Peter’s and the globalists imposing their Covid lockdowns to launch the Great Reset:

“The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, a group of religious leaders, educational scholars and cultural leaders from across the world, have met with the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, and other senior UN representatives, to present plans on the Abrahamic Family House, introduce the Committee members and discuss the group’s long-term vision. . . Commenting on the meeting, UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, said: ‘The Human Fraternity Document, signed by the Grand Imam and Pope Francis, represents the practical application of religious tolerance and respect, and a direct and intended message to all believers that diversity in religion is a divine wisdom, just like difference in color, gender and language.’” (Higher Committee of Human Fraternity meets UN Chief to present plans on Abrahamic Family House, December 5, 2019)

As much as faithful Catholics may blanch at these sentiments of religious indifference being attributed to the purported head of the Church, they are simply echoes of what Paul VI and John Paul II said decades ago.

Thanks to the work of Paul VI and his successors, there is no Catholic Church involved with the Abrahamic Family House — there is, however, a hateful mockery of the Mystical Body of Christ, designed to unite all men in opposing the religion established by God.

As the Abrahamic Family House website announces, His Holiness Francis Church, a mosque, and a synagogue opened on February 16 and will begin welcoming visitors on March 1:

“The three houses of worship - Imam Al-Tayeb Mosque, His Holiness Francis Church, and Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue – offer the opportunity to participate in and learn about religious services, listen to holy scripture, and experience sacred rituals. Everyone is invited to join in and learn about any of the three faiths.”

Thanks to the work of Paul VI and his successors, there is no Catholic Church involved with the Abrahamic Family House — there is, however, a hateful mockery of the Mystical Body of Christ, designed to unite all men in opposing the religion established by God. This is great success for the United Nations, but that body’s work remains incomplete so long as there are Catholics who dare to believe and teach what the Church has always taught.

All of this constitutes yet another reason why we must return to the immutable Catholic Faith that the globalists targeted with Vatican II. If we care about our own salvation and the good of our families, our churches, and our nations, we must recognize that God created us for this time so that we would honor Him as saints rather than go along with His enemies. God may be giving us these final signs that we must choose sides — will we belong to the Catholic Church or “His Holiness Francis Church”? Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!
