THE REAL CATHOLIC CRISIS: Universal Apostasy and Abuse of Power (not merely homosexuality)

So the creaky old Modernists are finally outing themselves. What a shock! After decades of using and abusing Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament while spiritually raping their flocks (children especially) Sunday after Sunday and year after year, why would anyone be surprised to learn that these creatures also like to party like it's 1999 in Sodom?

Compared to a lifetime of blasphemy and sacrilege, a little sodomy here and there is a piece of cake.

So now the tide is beginning to turn.  The Modernists are revealing themselves as men who cannot be trusted even with the bodies of children, much less their immortal souls.  And the world  which loved them so much--or at least pretended to--now sees an opportunity to use their public scandal as a cross on which to crucify Christ's Church once and for all--which was the plan from the very beginning of the Modernist revolution.

Even the papal darling of the media, Pope Francis, suddenly finds himself in the crosshairs, as the devil takes advantage of this perfect storm to cleanse his world of Christ's Church. In a decidedly non-fawning (for a change) article about Pope Francis, CNN—reigning queen sow of the MSM pigsty—signaled a sea change where secular attitudes toward the “Pope of the People" are concerned.

Check out CNN Religion Editor Daniel Burke’s August 16th article: Why is the Pope still silent about damning sex abuse report?

In July, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro wrote a personal letter to Pope Francis, warning him that "a comprehensive investigation" by his office had found "widespread sexual abuse of children and a systemic coverup by leaders of the Catholic Church."

Shapiro says he never received a response.

The six Pennsylvania dioceses named in the scathing grand jury report received copies of the 800-page document in May, according to Crux News. Before the report was published on Tuesday, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, one of the Pope's top allies and the former archbishop of Pittsburgh, had a detailed website prepared to defend himself against charges that he shielded abusive priests. (The website was removed on Thursday after an outcry from Catholics.)

Report details sexual abuse by more than 300 priests in Pennsylvania's Catholic Church.

So the idea that the Vatican was caught off guard by the explosive report or needs more time to process it is increasingly difficult to understand -- as is the Pope's silence on the matter. This is a pontiff, after all, who has chastised the media for ignoring the deaths of homeless people.

What's the threshold of victims it would take for the Vatican to quickly respond to the grand jury report? 2,000 children? Or 3,000?

Is 1,000 children abused at the hands of Catholic clergy not enough to warrant a comment from their Holy Father?

Apparently not.

They say that God sometimes writes straight with crooked lines. Well in this instance He’s seems to be allowing some less-than-straight crooks to write a pretty fitting epitaph for the Modernist revolution in the Church. Little wonder that people should be waking up, with plenty of good men packing up their Glad Games and sending them back to Harrington for a full refund.

A case in point, today's Catholic Herald:

Depending on whom you ask, the Catholic Church is in the midst of either a new springtime of evangelization, initiated by St John Paul II, or a fresh paradigm of pastoral accompaniment, brought about by Pope Francis. The most skillful will explain that we are in the midst of both, and they wonderfully complement each other.

But for people in the pews, things don’t look so great. In 1955, nearly 75 per cent of American Catholics went weekly to Mass. Today, only 39 percent do. Outside of a few Latin Mass and “reform of the reform” enclaves, Mass-going Catholics suffer wrecked sanctuaries, botched liturgies and moral confusion. The springtime is hard to find.

In recent months, I have attended a Mass at which Christ was assigned gender-neutral pronouns, and one at which the homilist proposed that he may have had biological brothers and sisters. (So much for Mary’s perpetual virginity.) At another, I was invited to join a ministry that openly rejects Christian teaching on sex.

Such is the new era of evangelization, the wondrous paradigm of pastoral accompaniment preserved by the fragile truce of 1968. Speaking as a member of what is called the JPII generation, I no longer think it is worth preserving. Upholding Catholic teaching on paper but not in reality has led to widespread corruption and contempt for authority. Preserving the peace has required a culture of lies. This is the culture that allowed men like McCarrick to flourish. One way or another, we must sweep it away.  (The abuse crisis casts doubt on the whole post-Vatican II settlement by Matthew Schmitz16 Aug 2018, Catholic Herald)

Indeed!  I've waited all my adult life to see the Catholic Herald publish something like this.  Praise God, the long wait is over.

As the pioneers of Traditional Catholicism insisted a thousand times over the past fifty years, God will not be mocked, and the Church is His to save... not ours! This, in fact, is the very thing the enemies of the Church will overlook: When attempting to finish off the Catholic Church in the modern world, it is not only us (as insignificant as we are) who will stand in their way, but God Himself. And against Him they have no defense at all.

So don't give up.  Stay on the field a bit longer. This is the beginning of the end of the occupation. Yes, we still need to fight publicly against the remnant of modernist revolutionaries, as decrepit and degenerate as they've become, but this is going to be easier now that even the media are beginning to see them for what they are--abusers of their own power and of the souls and bodies of their own flock. One needn't be a Catholic to recognize (and be repulsed by) scoundrels like these.

God is using these scoundrels' fall from worldly favor to expose what this crisis in His Church has been about from the very beginning. It's not sodomy...that came much later. Rather, it's the abuse of power and deep-rooted apostasy that naturally leads to the practice of every manner of vice. It's the war on the altar of sacrifice and the sacrificial nature of the venerable Roman Rite by which Modernists attempted to render the priesthood impotent fifty years ago.  It's the effects of a systemic loss of faith-- brought on by years of false ecumenism, lies, heresy, phony dialogue, modernism, the "evolution of doctrine" and liturgical revolution--that we're looking at now.

Why do these perverted bishops and priests do what they do? How can they live with themselves? How do they sleep at night?  It's simple! They've lost the faith. They don't believe hell exists and, even if it does, there's certainly nobody in it. If God exists at all, he is the "God of Mercy" that would never damn them, never damn anyone, in fact. He is, after all, their God. The God they created in their own image and likeness. The God of Holy Presumption.

If the Devil's single greatest accomplishment really is to make people think he doesn't exist, then he's got the Modernists to thank for it.  They've spent their lives corroborating this, and sexual addiction and even sodomy are mere inevitable consequences of that apostasy and betrayal.

The day of reckoning is finally here.

Restore the Traditional Faith, and sodomy in the priesthood will cease to exist as the pandemic it has become over the past fifty years of the Modernist occupation. Restore the Traditional Faith, and  pedophilia--that most vile deed of  faithless, hopeless and loveless men--will vanish from the face of the Church.

It is time for all Catholics to acknowledge the patently obvious: Modernism--not Tradition--is dying! And the moment to join the Catholic restoration movement has come -- for restoration of the Traditional Catholic Mass, Priesthood, Theology and Faith.  As is becoming obvious for all with eyes to see, the future of the Catholic Church and indeed the entire world depends on it.
