According to Breitbart, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has declined to throw the first pitch at the Texas Rangers’ home opener and declined to participate in any Major League Baseball (MLB) events after the league announced plans to relocate their All-Star Game from Atlanta in response to Georgia’s newly passed election integrity law.

And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole earth until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying: Eloi, Eloi, lamma sabacthani? My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Mark 16:33)
The whole earth was shaking. What a frightening moment that must have been, perhaps not altogether unlike ours today. The earth is shaking again, and Man would put God to death once more.
Adoramus Te, Christe, et benedicimus tibi, quia per sanctam crucem tuam redemisti mundum.
After Vatican II, a good and holy priest who’d refused to offer the New Mass (and was thrown out of his own church for it) predicted that the day was coming when the faithful remnant would be sustained by recourse to Our Lady. At the time, he said: “Should they take away the Mass completely, you will always have recourse to the Rosary and the Scapular, so learn to use these lifelines right now, before the darkness descends over the earth.”
In case you missed it, Catholic News Agency reports:
Cardinal Donald Wuerl, archbishop emeritus of Washington DC who stepped down in 2018 amid scandal, received over $2 million from the archdiocese last year for unspecified “ministry activities,” an investigation has found.
A March 3 examination of the archdiocese’s financial records by The Pillar found that Wuerl was allocated $2,012,639 for “continuing ministry activities” during fiscal year 2020.
The amount appropriated to Wuerl is up from approximately $1.5 million in 2019. The archdiocesan financial statement does not detail what “continuing ministry activities” the funds facilitated. [Read the rest HERE.]
Cardinal Joseph Zen has added his voice to the growing number of cardinals opposing the suppression of private, individual Masses inside St. Peter’s Bascilica.
I hope the cowboy hat guys keep in mind that His Eminence is not some rad trad spouting off. He offers the New Mass, in fact. He's just a good man who's finding it nearly impossible not to admit the obvious about the "den of thieves" currently running the Church into the ground. He knows those thieves PERSONALLY, and he's trying to save us... from them. God bless you, Cardinal Zen.

How far are you willing to let them go with their war against God and Country?
From the Editor’s Desk, Michael J. Matt asks tough questions:
• Why does the Old Normal show no signs of returning, even though the vaccines are finally here?
• Wasn’t the point of masks and social distancing to flatten the curve and slow the spread until the vaccines were ready?
Before CNN starts politicizing the horrific and senseless slaughter of the 10 people gunned down by a mass shooter at a Boulder, Colorado, supermarket Monday afternoon, let's remember to pray for this hero cop, Eric Talley, who was killed doing what good cops do: trying to save the lives of others.

In this Sunday Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father speaks of Passion Sunday and the fact that Our Lord hid Himself from His enemies before the time of His Passion had begun. Father then compares Our Lord's betrayal by His own to what is going on now at the highest levels of the Church.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
We proudly handed the Biden Administration the most secure border in history. All they had to do was keep this smooth-running system on autopilot. Instead, in the span of a just few weeks, the Biden Administration has turned a national triumph into a national disaster. They are in way over their heads and taking on water fast.
