Governor Greg Abbott has issued an executive order that drops the mask mandates and allows businesses to open to 100 percent capacity next week.
Is there a political angle to this? Of course, there always is. But Governor Abbott has presidential aspirations, and so the logical question is this: Why would a politician who has his eye on the White House in 2024 do this, unless he's done his homework, calculated the political risks and made an educated -- and political -- decision to proceed anyway?
The short answer: He wouldn't! He knows that COVID is, as even Klaus Schwab admits in his book, "The Great Reset," one of the "least deadly pandemics in 2000 years."
Those of us who have been warning for over a year that this pandemic would be used to crush freedom and civil liberties worldwide, can only celebrate this development as the best news in a long, long time.
What happens in Texas matters! Once other states and even other countries come to realize that Abbott just opened up a "super spreader" the size of, well, Texas, and that nothing is going to happen, life will go on and the old normal will begin to return--well, the taste of freedom is a powerful thing. And millions will be allowed to see that it's time for the insanity to end. And once that genie is out of the bottle, good luck putting it back.
God bless Governor Abbott.
Meanwhile, legislators in Albany, New York will strip Governor Andrew Cuomo of his powers and executive authority to handle the state’s CoVID-19 pandemic.
The house of COVID cards may well be coming down soon. Please, God.
Thanks for everything, Dr. Tony, and don't let the door hit you in the Fauci on your way out.
