American democracy is straining under the weight of mounting political polarization, distrust and a win-at-any-cost mentality. Democracy and its fragile sovereignty are expendable when the expansion of leftist ideology and the acquisition of political power lie in the balance. This scourge of unceasing totalitarian conformism is turning this once free republic into an alien place that our Founding Fathers would fail to recognize. The real homegrown threats to democracy are voter fraud, and social media outlets that strangle conservative speech, while cheering our criminal justice system to decree punishment against the politically maligned. Any conservative opposition to leftist propaganda is, according to the Biden administration, a threat to democracy.

Provided their demands fall short, like not maintaining abortion, the courts are to be packed with left wing judges.

Throughout history, democracies have failed when enough start voting for a living instead of working for one. We need leaders committed to these values where the Constitution and the country are always above partisan politics. The two major political parties need to recommit to the rule of law. Democratic societies thrive when there is a sense of community, identity, and belonging where laws and values are creed.
Our currency has inscribed the nation’s de facto motto: “E Pluribus Unum” — from many, one. For our democracy to survive, we must live that motto or face the dustbin of history.
The democratic process is a slow consensus, which can be messy and has been labelled the worst form of government – except for all the others.
