Perth Archdiocese and the COVID Cult

Perth Archdiocese and the COVID Cult

There seems little doubt now that the whole COVID panorama is a religion. Our democracies have been replaced by theocracies in which politicians issue health orders like oracles. Their bizarre announcements which rely on nothing but The Science are willingly obeyed by the masses who are ever hopeful that their health will be blessed. Catholics are not exempt from syncretically accepting the COVID cult; even if they reject or ignore Church teaching, they are only too happy to recite the COVID dogma and partake in its rituals.

Early on, when our Church leaders uncritically embraced the COVID narrative, it became clear that their lack of faith in God was being replaced by faith in the absurd health regime and especially in the coming vaccine. The extent to which COVID ideology had infected the hierarchy became obvious when this image appeared - it advertised a health conference featuring presentations from the new religion’s clergy being held at the Vatican.

Commenting on this image at the time, Archbishop Viganò said that “the order of Creation is subverted into therapeutic anti-creation, in which man saves himself and becomes the mad author of his own health “redemption.” Instead of the purifying laver of Baptism, the Covid religion proposes the vaccine, the bearer of disabilities and death, as the only means of salvation. Instead of Faith in the Revelation of God, we find superstition and the irrational assent to precepts that have nothing scientific about them, with rites and liturgies that mimic true Religion in a sacrilegious parody.[1]

No doubt this man thought he was being funny, but his tongue-in-cheek humor hid a sad reality: these days, our faith is gauged by our adherence to the COVID regime.

Some secular commentators would agree with his assessment, although they are often in favor of the new cult. For example, one British doctor tagged those who conscientiously adhered to the health regulations as “Orthodox” and those skeptical about the seriousness of the disease as “Atheists.” Before the inoculations were widely available, he wrote:

“Somewhere in this new World Religion you can see yourself. But whatever your level of observance, you can be sure of one thing. You can run, you can hide, you can even shield, but until the Messiah comes in the form of a 2ml syringe, we shall all continue to live in ways which we believe will bring us Salvation.”[2]

No doubt this man thought he was being funny, but his tongue-in-cheek humor hid a sad reality: these days, our faith is gauged by our adherence to the COVID regime.

More than a hundred years ago, Pope St. Pius X warned of the Modernist teachers who substitute a false theology for the truth, “Blind that they are, and leaders of the blind, inflated with a boastful science, they have reached that pitch of folly where they pervert the eternal concept of truth and the true nature of the religious sentiment …”

Described as part of its “long-standing tradition of service to the people of Perth”, Archbishop Costelloe said that the COVID clinics are in line with the Pope’s position on the abortion-tainted COVID drugs, calling it an “an act of love” to be injected with them.

St. Pius’ reference to “science” meant theology, the science concerning God. These days it applies equally well to the errors implicit in the COVID narrative as well as the errors of Modernism which lie behind them: humanism and rationalism. Pope St Pius could have been speaking directly of our COVID-obsessed prelates when he continued:

“ … with that new system of theirs they are seen to be under the sway of a blind and unchecked passion for novelty, thinking not at all of finding some solid foundation of truth, but despising the holy and apostolic traditions, they embrace other vain, futile, uncertain doctrines, condemned by the Church, on which, in the height of their vanity, they think they can rest and maintain truth itself. [3]

Embracing those “vain, futile, uncertain doctrines” of the so-called pandemic has led some of our prelates to engage in behaviour that is not only unChristian, but is downright anti-Catholic. And it seems that those members of the hierarchy who are most committed to the COVID cult are likewise most disdainful of those faithful Catholics who, by choice, remain outside the cult.

This is nowhere more clear than in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, where the Archbishop has been providing COVID inoculations on Cathedral grounds, while simultaneously banning Catholics from praying the Rosary in its vicinity.

Archbishop Timothy Costelloe has so far held two weekend COVID clinics at Perth’s St Mary’s Cathedral: one in December 2021, the other in January of this year. This is despite a hospital being located just a stone’s throw away.

Further, the “common good” spoken of by our Modernist prelate is not “to show how much we care”; rather the Catholic meaning of the common good is that which allows man to live virtuously in order to attain heaven.

Described as part of its “long-standing tradition of service to the people of Perth”, Archbishop Costelloe said that the clinics are in line with the Pope’s position on the abortion-tainted COVID drugs, calling it an “an act of love” to be injected with them.

The Cathedral’s COVID-jab project was run in conjunction with the nearby Royal Perth Hospital, whose staff administer the injections. The Dean of the Cathedral, Rev Dr Sean Fernandez, told the media that the Cathedral’s priests all had their shots last May, “without any hesitation.. He also explained that the Cathedral parish is “diverse” and “welcoming” to hospital visitors and to homeless people. Presumably injecting the homeless with toxic gene serum is one of the Works of Mercy in the new COVID faith.

Costelloe’s “rejection of the solid foundation of truth”, of which Pius X warned, can be seen in his justification for the use of aborted fetal cells in the development of the COVID treatments. The Archbishop explained that there is confusion over the morality of the treatments because:

“ … [in] the very early days of the development or the early discoveries which later led to the vaccines, there was some involvement of cells derived from aborted children.”[4]

When faithful Catholics discovered that the Cathedral parish was going to host a COVID inoculation clinic, they decided that the best response was to gather there to pray.

His errors are obvious to those who have done even a little research: every COVID “vaccine” is intimately connected to abortion in its testing phase, with some relying on aborted fetal cells during their development as well. As has been amply proven elsewhere, the use of these treatments does not constitute remote cooperation with evil, but is instead proximate cooperation with the grave twin sins of abortion and the desecration of human bodies.

Further, the “common good” spoken of by our Modernist prelate is not “to show how much we care”; rather the Catholic meaning of the common good is that which allows man to live virtuously in order to attain heaven. Obviously, cooperation with evil is diametrically opposed to a virtuous life. But that isn’t the extent of the Archbishop’s inversions and perversions.

When faithful Catholics discovered that the Cathedral parish was going to host a COVID inoculation clinic, they decided that the best response was to gather there to pray. During the  first clinic session, on December 18th, around thirty prayed the Rosary on a grassy area of the Cathedral grounds. Without signs or banners, the group blended into the peaceful scene where families picnicked on the Cathedral lawns.

As the prayers progressed, two security guards approached the group and asked what they were doing there. After being told the group was simply praying, the guards took some photographs and left.

Strangely, the security guards told the couple that they were barred from entry because they had been holding signs: as the photograph shows, there were no signs being used.

The group returned on January 8th to pray while the second clinic was operating. This time, the security guards told them that they were not allowed to remain on the grounds; they eventually gave permission for the group to pray inside the church instead. As members of the group began to enter the church, three burly guards singled out an older couple, and refused them entry, standing in front of the church doors.

Strangely, the security guards told the couple that they were barred from entry because they had been holding signs: as the photograph shows, there were no signs being used. The Catholics were simply praying in an unobtrusive manner, giving no indication of the focus of their prayers. The security guards then called the police, who told the couple that they were trespassing and escorted them off the property.

Mrs. Laima Stubbs, the woman approached by the police, said that she was completely taken aback by the confrontation. “It was a real kick in the guts,” she told this author. “Other people were there having a picnic in the church grounds, yet we weren’t allowed to pray. And why were we being discriminated against by being kept out of the church? We’re daily communicants.”

First it was the rituals and the aspiration of “Stay Safe”, then came the penance of lockdowns. Now the hierarchy is anathematizing the faithful: in Melbourne, priests were forbidden to pray for freedom and in Perth, public rosaries are being shut down.

First it was the rituals and the aspiration of “Stay Safe”, then came the penance of lockdowns. Now the hierarchy is anathematizing the faithful: in Melbourne, priests were forbidden to pray for freedom and in Perth, public rosaries are being shut down. This is evidence that the COVID cult is being driven by the spirit of antichrist.

The next area of concern for Mr and Mrs Laima and the other members of the Rosary group is that the Cathedral clinic will reopen and provide shots for children. Archbishop Costelloe has said he would be willing to reopen the clinic if that was deemed necessary by the authorities. The West Australian government has just approved injections for children aged 5-11, and there is nothing to suggest that the Cathedral would shy away from providing for them.

The effects of that could be disastrous; reports are already filtering in from Australian parents whose children have died after receiving an injection. While it is difficult to prove the veracity of those reports, the fact that social media entities are removing posts[5] under the criteria of “violating community standards” suggests that these are true accounts. For obvious reasons, there has been no information about these deaths coming from the health authorities so far.

The obvious next phase of the cult is upon us: human sacrifice. Perth’s Archbishop has shown his willingness to take part in the antiCatholic rites of the COVID cult. He has also expressed flagrant denial of the link between the inoculations and the murder of unborn babies. Will he also be willing to sacrifice born children in order to appease the god of fear?
