Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome (0)

RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.

Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:

New from Remnant TV...

Thumnail GOOD

FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK, Michael J. Matt covers Trump's SOTU address in light of the rise and fall of Neo-Catholicism from the Tiber to the Swamp and beyond. With Pope Francis teaming up with the Imam this week, it becomes clear that Catholic Tradition--liturgy, values, theology--is on the rise due to the sheer insanity of the remnant of diehard neo-Catholics from Pelosi, to Cuomo, to Dolan and Pope Francis himself.

haha

When can we start talking about “toxic femininity”?

The other day, before we all got distracted by that absurdist bit of manufactured political theatre in DC, apparently the Gillette company produced an advert that more or less insulted their entire customer base. (Well DONE, morons!)

I didn’t see it, but it’s not hard to guess. It was probably something like this: “7 Obsolete ‘Manly’ Skills and What to Replace Them With” Click it if you think you must, but in brief it says, “If you are manly, get rid of that toxic notion and become a woman.” If you’re handy about the house, fixing things, that’s toxic: learn to decorate.

New from RTV...thumb davi

At a time when precious few Catholic men can summons the intestinal fortitude to take a stand for anything that doesn't involve sports, it makes us want to stand up and cheer when movie star, Robert Davi, puts it all in the line for babies, morality, God and country. After lambasting Governor Cuomo's maniacal new abortion law, what do you suppose Davi—a Hollywood tough guy—asks us to do for our country and the lives of the unborn?

Dystopian novels have been chilling readers to the bone for decades. Orwell's, "Nineteen Eighty-Four", Huxley's "Brave New World", Walker Percy's "Love In the Ruins".

These classics provide terrifying glimpses of a harsh and colorless world where human beings have been cowed into a state of perpetual shell-shock as their humanity is stripped away by governments exercising ultimate control over life and death.

New York reached a new depth of evil on January 22, 2019, when The Reproductive Health Act passed with a 38-28 vote and was signed into law by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo -- a...ahem...Catholic.

"With the signing of this bill, we are sending a clear message that whatever happens in Washington, women in New York will always have the fundamental right to control their own body," Cuomo said.

Yep, you're so woke, Andy!

On the other hand, what about the little 9-month-old's fundamental right to control her own body? I guess Andy, an obvious misogynist, is only down with feminists old enough to vote. So, it's open season on little women.

mccarrick in romeThen-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, key spokesman for bishops at the summit meeting with JPII on the sex abuse crisis unfolding in the U.S., faces the press at the Vatican on April 24, 2002.  Introduction: the “Abuse of Minors” Ruse

The homosexual priest and bishop scandal has erupted anew, just as I predicted in an article for this journal seventeen years ago, concerning the useless “pedophile summit” in Rome, presided over by none other than ex-Cardinal McCarrick, the serial sexual abuser of seminarians and altar boys Pope Bergoglio was finally forced to discipline after having rehabilitated him in full knowledge of his past. The 2002 Roman junket for well-fed prelates was cunningly designed to avoid the issue of homosexual activity among the clergy and their “consenting adult” partners in sodomy.

fake news

Imagine if half the country turned against you overnight and blasted you with white hot anger, death threats, calls to ruin your future, and much else besides.

Then, instead of shielding you from the abuse and standing with you in love against the crazed mob, imagine if your own parents abandoned you and even actively joined their voices to the chorus of those attacking you.

New from RTV. . .

For God's sake--and the sake of our dying nation--please share this powerful sermon with friends and family.

In this "Sunday Sermon from South St. Paul," Father explains the real horrors of abortion. Quoting President Trump's address at this year’s National Right to Life March in Washington, Father observes: "When you look into the eyes of a newborn baby, you can see the beauty and the majesty of God's Creation"-- beauty and majesty which are now under assault in America and indeed all around the world.

So terrible is this assault, in fact, that Father pleads with his congregation to recognize abortion as a sign of demonic possession, and that this war cannot be won without God's intervention, exorcism, and the spiritual weapons of prayer and penance.

fus grottoAt a campus proudly devoted to the Mother of God, it is not unusual to see Franciscan University students praying at the Marian Grotto, even in inclement weather.

CATHOLIC-BASHING. It’s something we might as well get used to. As secularist society grows increasingly intolerant of all things authentically Catholic, we should certainly anticipate Catholic institutions of higher learning coming under fire, at least those whose administrations are disinclined to invite the likes of Father James Martin to deliver the commencement addresses.

The so-called “Newman Guide schools” are getting hit from all sides.

The administrators at Christendom College, for example, are—according to blogger Simcha Fisher—so fanatical in their enforcement of rules of Christian morality on campus that they need to be held accountable for any crime of sexual assault that happens to take place off campus. (Huh?)

That particular hatchet job was served up by a woman whose husband, by the way, was so eager to attack a little group of traditional Catholics up in New Hampshire last week that he crawled into bed with the Christophobic Southern Poverty Law Center to get the job done.

trump pro life addressPresident Trump addressed the 2019 March for Life via live stream

AS THE DEMONS and their Democrat allies beat the war drums against all things true, good and beautiful, let us take a moment to thank God that even today, in 2019—in the wake of so many terrible advances against the Cross, the Family and the Unborn—our children can nevertheless still watch and see the leaders of America stand against most of the rest of the world in defense of what we Christians hold most sacred.

We’ve come to the point now where our President and Vice-President can be vigorously defended just on the basis of who their enemies are and how much they hate God and the unborn.
