TODAY'S CATHOLIC CURRENT radio broadcast featured Remnant Editor, Michael J. Matt.
The show’s host, Fr. Robert McTeigue, invited Mr. Matt to the show to answer the question: Is United Nations ideology infiltrating the Vatican?
The invitation came on the heels of a recent Remnant TV video: VATICAN'T: Catholic/UN Population Control.
As the Remnant dares to present a "dissenting" point of view to the international narrative of what's going on here, it's refreshing to see that someone as connected as Limbaugh also sees the need to interject some cautionary comments on the possible politicization of this now global crisis.
While we caution everyone to pray and continue to exercise prudent precautions to keep your families safe and healthy during this time, we'd also encourage you to read the following transcript of a recent Rush Limbaugh broadcast.
Every now and again, Sanders the cold-blooded dictator peeks out from behind the philanthropic old socialist veneer, and in those moments he sounds like this:
“The idea that women in this country should not be able to control their own bodies is beyond belief. They have that constitutional right. So if you're asking me, would I ever appoint a Supreme Court justice who does not believe in defending Roe versus Wade, who does not believe that a woman has the right to control her own body, I will never do that.” (Source: Meet the Press 2019 interview of 2020 presidential hopefuls)
It’s also hitting the news that Sanders is considering a list of potential executive orders to unilaterally enact on Day 1, should he win the election. Chief among these is to reverse Trump’s Mexico City policy while forcing Americans to fund providers of “abortion counseling” such as, obviously, Planned Parenthood.
TODAY AT 11:15 CST, President Donald Trump became the first president in history to attend the D.C. March for Life, addressing the crowd at the National Mall in Washington.
Wednesday was the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. In his speech today at the prolife rally, President Trump reminded us: “At the United Nations, I made it clear that global bureaucrats have no business attacking the sovereignty of nations that protect innocent life.”
The Trump Admin is on fire this week.
After declaring it to be “National Sanctity of Human Life Day”, Trump announced that he will attend the 47th March for Life this Friday.
In a statement issued yesterday, Trump wrote:
“On National Sanctity of Human Life Day, our Nation proudly and strongly reaffirms our commitment to protect the precious gift of life at every stage, from conception to natural death.
“As a Nation, we must remain steadfastly dedicated to the profound truth that all life is a gift from God, who endows every person with immeasurable worth and potential.
“My Administration is also building an international coalition to dispel the concept of abortion as a fundamental human right. So far, 24 nations representing more than a billion people have joined this important cause.”
Do you hear that? It's the troll tears of abortion fanatics everywhere.
The D.C. March for Life is 47 years old, and never has a U. S. President been in attendance.
See you on Friday...Big Crowd! https://t.co/MFyWLG4HFZ

Real or imagined quid pro quos notwithstanding, Trump is the most pro-life president since Roe v. Wade. Thank God, and Trump 2020!
Thanks to Fr. Z and his blog, Unite the Clans is now a hashtag, and seems to be catching on!

It is time to #UniteTheClans
The editor of The Remnant, my friend Michael Matt, has begun to promote something called
Unite The Clans!
What he is asking for is that Catholics who are on the traditional side of things should set aside small differences and work together – intelligently, strategically – to accomplish goals.
I’ve been talking about this for years.
Libs, the left, progressivists, modernists, whatever, set aside small differences all the time to work together. Of course, that’s easy when you’re main objective is to tear something down, rather than to build or repair.
By contrast, conservatives and traditionalists tend to defend their own little wrinkle of turf to the point that they won’t unite and work with others. They couldn’t organize a bird-cage.
Remember the great Mel Gibson movie about William Wallace? Braveheart? He managed to bring together otherwise squabbling clans which, divided, remained weak in the face of the Sassanach enemy.
(Image cred: A hilarious Remnant fan)
Benjamin Franklin, said, “We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”
Find a stick. It breaks easily as you bend it. Bind it together with a dozen others like it and try again.
Mr. Matt brings up the fact that some on the traditionalist side of things blast away at others, who really are on the same side, for not being sufficiently pure, or trad or militant or in your face, etc. He points out that it is smart, strategic, prudent, in many cases not immediately to shoot every bit of ammo that you have all at once. Pick your targets, your hills, your battles. Figure out what you want to accomplish and then figure out how to attain your goal… rather than die trying. (Read the rest HERE)
When asked for comment on this development, our Editor Michael Matt responded:
What we've got here are two old war horses who've not always seen eye-to-eye on everything over the past 25 years, but who nevertheless know Devils when we see them. Unite the clans with Father Z? You bet! I'm proud to stand together with him against the demons attempting to destroy our beloved Church.
Stay tuned tomorrow for Remnant TV's Special Edition of From the Editor's Desk-- MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Unite the SSPX & FSSP Clans--wherein Michael traces the history of revoltuion/counterrevolution, especially relating to the Society of St. Pius X and the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, and asks the question: Can we get out of the way long enough to the let the old Faith unite us in battle against those who would crush us all?
Here's the thing: We don't have to like each other...but can we learn to go to war together?
Interested to know more about the event which invited The Remnant’s Editor halfway around the world?
The symposium was the result of many meetings between a French “legitimist” Catholic and a Japanese priest who is back in his native country heading up the first traditional Catholic mission there since St. Francis Xavier’s in 1549.
It has recently been reported that after current supplies run out, Vatican City State will no longer be selling any single-use plastic items.
This on the heels of the European Union pledging in May to ban all single-use plastic come 2021. Rafael Ignacio Tornini, head of the department handling Vatican City State's gardens and waste collection, now states that single-use plastics will no longer be sold.
In keeping with the Vatican’s Green Pride streak, most famous of which are the solar powered Paul VI audience hall and the jungle-scape lightshow on St. Peter’s, they’ve now entered the race to match the EU’s 70-75 percent recycling standard.
Below is a correspondence from one of our readers that touched our hearts today. We’re reproducing it here as a much-needed little boost:
Mr. Matt,
Came home from work today, prayed the Rosary on my back porch with my youngest daughter and then was watching today’s coverage of stage 11 of the Tour de France on my laptop and what do I see 10 minutes into the coverage, how about a Vendee Flag!!! Of course the commentators totally ignored the Vendee Flag but talked about the Royal Airforce Flag next to it.
Without you guys it would mean NOTHING, but through WISDOM (prayed for EVERY day from the Holy Ghost) I know better and now it means EVERYTHING!
Living in Cincinnati, OH and loving your “Vendee” video from Japan!!!
VIVA CHRISTO REY…truly our KING!!!
God Bless,
Remnant Follower

Want a quick refresher course on the meaning behind that flag? Watch Michael Matt’s presentation at the traditional Catholic conference in Japan last week:
The Catholic situation in China continues to depress. While the Vatican fusses over pagan tribes in the Amazon who don’t want Catholicism (despite being dubbed—incredibly— “the Heart of the Church” by Pope Francis), faithful Chinese Catholics inch closer than ever to all-out persecution under a patently anti-Christ government and their Vatican-approved, state-appointed, window dressed “church”.
Most recently, Catholic shrines are taking a hit. A churchgoer in China described the new crackdown.
May 12 in Ludezhuang, China, is a special day on which tens of thousands flock to its famous Catholic pilgrimage site. This year the government stacked the entrance with over 300 police officers who practically frisked each pilgrim, then capped it off at 10,000. Thousands more arrived only to be denied entrance. These faithful knelt on the ground outside the shrine and prayed there in quiet witness.
Also in May, pilgrims along the road to the Sheshan Hill pilgrimage in Shanghai were forced by police to fly the national flag and sing the national anthem, in an attempt to assimilate their religious doctrine and erode their religious faith—else they faced the threat of imprisonment. As one local pilgrim put it:
“It is an insult to us to sing the national anthem before Mass, but if we resist, the CCP will arrest us.”
And last August, the Mozi Mountain pilgrimage site in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region also fell under government suppression. Checkpoints were stationed on each of the major roads leading to this site, and all without a specific travel pass issued by the Religious Affairs Bureau were denied access. Moreover, the electronic signal at the shrine itself was scattered, which prevented faithful from posting photos and videos of their pilgrimage.
Persecution is coming, and not just in China. Imagine if such a thing happened in France, home of the massively-successful Chartres Pilgrimage?
Let’s pray for our Chinese Catholic brothers, friends, and pray for our Church which is in the hands of demons.
Lastly, a quick request for prayers for the soul the recently deceased Bishop Stefano Li Side of Tianjin. Asia News reported that Bishop Stefano Li Side, the legitimate ordinary of Tianjin, died last month after a long illness. He was 92 and had been living under house arrest since 1992. Since Bishop Li Side never joined the schismatic CCP, the state-backed religious authorities will not permit his body to be buried in a Catholic cemetery.
Bishop Li Side, RIP
We’d like to thank this good bishop for his faithful service and remember him in our prayers.
