Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome (0)

RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.

Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:

New from Remnant TV...

RTV MIke London

At the Family Life International Conference in London, Michael J. Matt delivers a powerful lecture on the restoration of Christianity through the defense and restoration of the Christian family. Commenting on martyrs, catacombs and Catholic resistance, Michael offers concrete suggestions for how we survive and indeed conquer a ruthless, Christophobic secularism in the modern world. The talk was delivered at the London Oratory on May 13, 2018.

Vatican II & Pope Francis: Fr. Clovis Interviewed by Michael Matt

RTV in LONDON: Michael Matt interviews Father Linus Clovis. The conversation covers the question of refusing Communion to pro-abort politicians, the necessity of the TLM, Pope Francis, and Amoris Laetitia, which Father calls a "Trojan Horse."

Plus, is Pope Francis an anomaly, or did Vatican II make Francis inevitable?

And fear ye not them that kill the body and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell. - Matthew 10:28

From love, Timothy Peter Leonard was created, and from hate, he was destroyed.

Born on the Feast of the Holy Apostles, June 29, 1893, the County Limerick native seemed destined to win a martyr’s crown, like Saint Peter, who was crucified upside down in Nero’s amphitheater, and Saint Paul, who was beheaded with a sword in Aquae Salviae.

But rather than in Rome, the Eternal City, he would win his in a desolate mountain village, deep inside pagan China.

Mike and Katy

Down in the catacombs, Michael Matt comments on Katy "I Kissed a Girl" Perry being invited to speak at the Vatican last month. Perry, an outspoken champion of LGBTQ rights, was honored with a personal meeting with the Pope and entrusted to help the Vatican promote Transcendental Meditation. We're sure Pope Francis & Co were merely trying to convert Katy, and that that's why she was singled out in this way. After all, didn’t Our Lord eat with the tax collectors?

By the way, Katy Perry's breakout song, I Kissed A Girl, was nominated for the Kids Choice Award in 2009, and after her visit with Francis she announced the celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the song's release.

New from Remnant TV.... all the darwins

Has the entire Catholic Church gone Darwin? Everyone else has. Even a brilliant guy like Jordan Peterson! Cardinal Pell thinks Adam and Eve didn't actually exist. Pope John Paul 'The Great' said Evolution is more than a hypothesis. Of course, Pope Francis is an evolutionist. But what about you? Are you ready to throw Genesis under the bus, just to accommodate a theory called 'Evolution'? Come to St Paul on May 8, 2018 for the AOTM season finale: Chris Ferrara vs. St. Thomas University's Dr. Peter Distelzweig – “EVOLUTION: At War with Church Teaching, Or Not.”

St. Pius V

Remnant TV's CATHOLIC SAINTS AND HOLY DAYS pays homage to the great St. Pius V--the pope who called the Holy League to rise up against Islam, commissioned the Catechism of the Council of Trent against the errors of the Protestants and codified the Traditional Latin Mass and the 15-mystery Rosary in anticipation of the Modernists.

Notre Shame

Michael J. Matt interviews Dr. Jesse Russell at the Argument of the Month. With special emphasis on the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, the discussion tackles how, years ago, the Land O’ Lakes Statement, Father Ted Hesburgh, Father Charlie Curran and others spearheaded the effort to induce Catholic universities to go from citadels of orthodoxy to citadels of militant political correctness. What has happened to free speech on Catholic campuses in 2018? Why are Catholic universities and colleges throwing off their Catholic identity? Are Catholic institutions of higher learning even Catholic anymore? If not, why are Catholics still supporting them? Why don’t we abandon the status-symbol “Catholic” colleges and sign up with the actual Catholic colleges such as Christendom, TAC, Ave Maria and Franciscan?

oh my gosh pope and kids not for realPossibly the most awkward and canned moment in the history of the papacy

The Synod on Young People, October 2018

In all charity it must be said that the poor millennials represent possibly the most dumbed-down generation of human beings in the history of the world. It is certainly not their fault, mind you, but that doesn’t alter the tragic reality of what they are. After a hundred years of Modernism in the Church and Secularism in the State, the dismal spiritual, moral and intellectual condition of the millennials offers the most stinging indictment of modernity imaginable.

“Progress” along the path to utopia has left a whole generation of young people unsure of which bathroom to use.

Well played, Enlighted Ones!

WASHINGTON, DC, April 28, 2018 (The Remnant Press) -- A Solemn Pontifical Mass according to the Extraordinary Form was celebrated today at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The Pontifical Mass was organized by the Paulus Institute for the Propagation of Sacred Liturgy in honor of the tenth anniversary of the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, issued by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI in July, 2007. Although the tenth Anniversary of Summorum Pontificum was in July, 2017, the Pontifical Mass was delayed until the completion of the Trinity Dome over the transept of the basilica.
