In this Throwback Thursday release, we go back to the private audience Pope Francis granted to Whoopi Goldberg last year. A notorious pro-abort, the co-host of the reliably woke daytime television show, The View, positioned herself as the ultimate fan of the Synodal Church of Pope Francis. And why not! She was wined and dined by the Vatican to such an extent that fans and critics alike wondered if Team Francis had it in mind to hire Goldberg as spokesperson of the Synod on Synodality. But that’s what she is, of course, even if she’s not getting paid by the Vatican for her time and trouble. Here’s why….

Michael J. Matt comes from a 160-year-old newspaper family legacy and has been the editor of The Remnant since 1994. He is the founder of Remnant TV and host of the popular Remnant Underground show.
