Bishop Mark Beckman canceled the TLM in parishes in Johnson City, Knoxville and Chattanooga. This news dropped just as Robert Cardinal Sarah announced that in his recent audience with Pope Leo, he personally made the case for the Latin Mass.
As the world descends into the fires of Hell, the Synodal Church remains committed to feeding the flames. The Traditional Latin Mass in the Diocese of Knoxville, Tennessee, is the latest casualty of the Luciferian Traditionis Custodes. Bishop Mark Beckman canceled the TLM in parishes in Johnson City, Knoxville and Chattanooga.
This news dropped just as Robert Cardinal Sarah announced that in his recent audience with Pope Leo, he personally made the case for the Latin Mass. Reporting at PerMariam.com, Vatican journalist, Michael Haynes, reported that the former prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship had recently gone to bat for Traditional Catholics, pointing out that “when we really look at Christians who practice today, they are the ones who go to traditional Mass. So why forbid them? On the contrary, we should encourage them.”
How does such hypocrisy not make a pharisaical laughingstock out of the listening Church of Synodality? No mercy, no tolerance, just an obstinate refusal to listen to their own sheep. Cardinal Sarah tells them to listen . . . but they steadfastly refuse.
Speaking to Tribune Chrétienne, Cardinal Sarah lamented the rekindling of the liturgy wars: “We have turned the Mass into a battlefield — traditionalist, progressive, this and that — and we are profaning the Eucharist,” he said. “If people don’t believe, then nothing will change,” he warned. “We continue to fight over liturgy, we continue to bully certain people.”
So, why do so many U.S. bishops refuse to hear the voice of the Spirit in these pastoral words from Cardinal Sarah? His Eminence is obviously encouraging them to listen and accompany us – the sheep – on pathways of fulfillment here on our journey to the Lord. Yet they manifest intolerant close-mindedness, preferring to remain committed to an ideological rigorism that leaves no room for the Spirit. They sit on their chair of Moses throwing stones and judging with superiority and superficiality difficult cases and wounded families within their own sheepfolds. How does such hypocrisy not make a pharisaical laughingstock out of the listening Church of Synodality? No mercy, no tolerance, just an obstinate refusal to listen to their own sheep. Cardinal Sarah tells them to listen . . . but they steadfastly refuse. Obviously for the U.S. Bishops, Synodality means listen for thee but not for me.
Synodality is not only a cruel joke, but also a baldfaced lie!
