TO ALL CATHOLIC MEN OF LOUISIANA

Gentlemen of La Nouvelle Vendée and Friends,

The PRIDE Movement has selected Lakeshore Drive in Mandeville, Louisiana as the site of a PRIDE Parade on June 1, 2024.

This seems to be an offensive maneuver on a location known for its family-friendly environment, its plentiful Church parishes, and its selection of schools. While a display such as this would perhaps not be so surprising in New Orleans, Chicago, Austin, or Los Angeles, the objective here appears to be the infiltration of a community with traditional, Catholic values.

Diabolical also is the concurrence of this event with the First Saturday devotion and the first day of the Month of the Sacred Heart.

The current planned route for the parade per TP/NOLA.com runs roughly from Jackson St. to Carroll Ave. along Lakeshore Drive. According to the Queer Northshore website, this event runs from 4 to 6 PM, with the parade starting at 5 PM.CIC Candace AD

Our current plan is to meet by 3:20 PM on the sidewalk outside Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville and then to walk together to muster between Marigny Ave. and Lamarque St. on the Mandeville Lakefront by 3:45 PM, although I recommend looking for parking earlier (NB: beware of the potential for vandalism to your vehicle if it bears particular symbols or messages).

Rallying point: Look for the blue banner covered in fleurs-de-lis with a Sacred Heart image in the center. This is the banner of La Nouvelle Vendée.Untitled June 30 2023 12

Important notes for dress and conduct:

  • We will stand shoulder to shoulder along the Lakefront, in 2-4 ranks - possibly more - depending on attendance, which should be a significant number of men.
  • In addition to praying the Rosary, we will utilize chants such as "Ave Christus Rex", "Christus Dominus est", "Quis ut Deus", and "Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat.”
  • We will not respond to antagonism, but suffer the lash as did the King of all mankind - with humility and fortitude. In the eventuality that one of our men is under threat of deadly violence, we will respond appropriately, but otherwise we will stand stone-faced and immovable in the face of insults and indignities.
  • A cameraman has been assigned to take footage and photos, especially of any aggression we experience.
  • In all of this, we will bear in mind that Our Blessed Lord and Our Lady have suffered the greatest affront on this day, and that we ourselves are there to console the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts.
  • Come hydrated.
  • Minimum dress code:
    • Collared shirt, tucked in
    • Pants
    • Ideally: A Vendée-type Sacred Heart patch on left breast

As a final note, I commend you for your bravery and conviction.

Together, we will stand for the Church, for our families, for our children, and for the beauty and light and wisdom that was - and will be again - the Social Kingship of Christ. It is a great deed! - And one that will be accomplished by the best of men. May God's grace abound on this day and accomplish the salvation of souls.

Please contact me with any questions.

Vive Le Christ-Roi ! Our Lady of Victories, Pray for Us!

The light will come again.

Sincerely,
