What Do We Really Know About the Vaccines?

“I speak as one who opposes abortion,” says Shea. But how exactly does he oppose abortion? Only by saying he opposes it? Shea tells pro-lifers that they should argue with pro-aborts – or at least with Jewish pro-aborts – in pro-abort terms. But does he try to persuade pro-aborts, in a reasonable way, toward respect for human life in the womb? He does not. When pro-aborts comment on his blog, he responds with a tremendous sucking sound. Hey, let’s not argue about abortion! As long as you hate Trump the way I hate Trump, everything’s copacetic. Can I drive you to the local murder mill? My cooperation will be so remote that it won’t matter at all….

With the promulgation of Traditionis Custodes, Francis of Rome has further revealed himself to be an enemy of Tradition. One wonders what core component of true religion is next on his bucket list to destroy before his own demise. The traditional Rosary perhaps? That could be easily accomplished, using the template he has already completed with his most recent motu proprio. Here it is:

The human will was the centerpiece of that despicable age. Riefenstahl’s most famous film is surely her 1935 propaganda epic Triumph of the Will. In this black-and-white mosaic of the National Socialists’ rise to power, Riefenstahl gives the world her entrancing, hypnotic vision of a continent subject to a Fuhrer’s designs. Germany has become spokes radiating out from the mad, magnetic leader barking out wild speeches on a gigantic stage all alone. Nothing else is needed. A paunchy corporal’s will suffices for the entire Volk.

Current secular beliefs in Scotland about C&A are suicidal, unless we imagine that inflicting serious economic and social damage on the country is a good thing.

The Following is a statement from His Excellency Archbishop Lt Col Zhang (Pope Francis’ most favored prelate east of Hai River)

Pope Francis has chosen to ignore the advice of Gamaliel. With his motu proprio Traditionis Custodes he is trying to destroy the traditional Latin Mass (TLM) and the traditional Catholic Faith (TCF) that flows to and from the TLM. But if traditional Catholicism is “from God” he will fail because he is “fighting against God”.

Dico vobis quia si hii tacuerint, lapides clamabunt. I say to you that if these are silent, the stones will cry out. – Lk 19:40

New from Remnant TV…

1. None of the allegations of disunity and division presented in Traditionis Custodes and in the accompanying letter to bishops can rightfully be said to apply to this pontifical Mass, as demonstrated by prior pontifical celebrations arranged by The Paulus Institute in 2010 and in 2018 at the Shrine. These were attended by participation of thousands of pilgrims, scores of priests, seminarians, orders of knights, and an Eastern Bishop in choro in 2018, etc., and no disunity was created by His Eminence William Cardinal Baum, formerly Cardinal Archbishop of Washington, who in 2010 joined the pontifical Mass i n choro (see his attached letter).

Democracy advocates say 5,000 have been arrested and the whereabouts of 200 are unknown – underscoring the reality for Cubans. Moreover, the Cuban Prisoners Defenders in Spain says Cuba leads the world in prison population per capita.

To one who knows nothing about Catholicism, Church history, or Pope Francis, Traditionis Custodes might seem like a sober attempt to restore order in the face of attempts by some renegades to foment divisions. In the letter accompanying the Motu Proprio, the pope tells his bishops that he has not acted rashly in enacting the new restrictions because he previously circulated a questionnaire to them regarding the implementation of Pope Benedict XVI’s Summorum Pontificum. He speaks of his sadness in reading the responses to this questionnaire:

THE TRUMP TWEETS: Donald Trump says, “Don’t surrender to COVID”

Pope Francis promotes synodality: everyone should be able to talk, everyone should be heard. This was hardly the case with his recently published motu proprio Traditionis Custodes, an ukase [imperial edict] that must put an immediate termination on the traditional Latin Mass. In so doing, Francis puts a big bold line through Summorum Pontificum, Pope Benedict’s motu proprio that gave ample scope to the old Mass.

An article published today in America Magazine, I love Latin Mass and Pope Francis. Please don’t let a few (very loud) traditionalists ruin it for the rest of us, by Jonathan Culbreath, offers tacit confirmation of the injustice and lack of mercy painfully evident in Pope Francis’s over-the-top crackdown on the Tridentine Mass.

The betrayal of ideals, of culture, of civilization, of knowledge, and of the arts finds its cause in the apostasy of faith, in having rejected two millennia of Christianity and in wanting to remove even the historical memory of it with the “cancel culture”.

The rationale for suppressing Traditional Masses offered by Pope Francis in his letter accompanying Traditionis custodes —that communities which celebrate this liturgy reject the Second Vatican Council—is a red herring. These communities are so young and so full of converts that most members have small reason to think of the council. The number of cradle Catholics old enough to bear scars from the council and its aftermath is relatively slight and will decrease with time.

New from RTV… Nation’s top country song panned as “controversial” and “extremist” for decrying flag burning.

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold, nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot. But because thou are lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.” (Apocalypse 3:15-16)

The report calls for “the creation of safe spaces in every NARA facility.” No word if crayons and coloring books are included.

Many faithful – laity, ordained and consecrated – have expressed to me the profound distress which the Motu Proprio Traditionis Custodes has brought them. Those who are attached to the Usus Antiquior (More Ancient Usage) [UA], what Pope Benedict XVI called the Extraordinary Form, of the Roman Rite are deeply disheartened by the severity of the discipline which the Motu Proprio imposes and offended by the language it employs to describe them, their attitudes and their conduct. As a member of the faithful, who also has an intense bond with the UA, I fully share in their sentiments of profound sorrow.

In his first print interview since the release of Pope Francis’ new decree restricting the Traditional Latin Mass, Traditionis Custodes, Bishop Athanasius Schneider has said the document “demeans” a thousand-year-old liturgy of the Roman Rite, commits an “injustice” against Catholics who adhere to it, and creates a “two-class society” in the Church.
