Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome (0)

RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.

Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:

Was it a gigantic crocodile? Or perhaps a whale? But what if it was a dragon? Or, who knows, maybe a gigantic sea serpent? As you probably anticipated, all these questions with uncertain answers refer to another rare creature described in the pages of the Bible: Leviathan.

Returning to the discussion of reclaiming our Catholic Holy Days. In a previous article, we covered the Advent Season which has substantially disappeared since Vatican II, at least in how it is observed in most Catholic homes.

Most faithful Catholics can now name at least a few heretical ideas from Francis’s ten-year occupation of the papacy, including those related to Communion for Catholics who are not in the state of grace and blessings of intrinsically evil relationships. Among these multifarious heresies, though, one category of heretical ideas stands apart because one cannot accept it without simultaneously undermining the entire basis for the Catholic Faith.

New from Remnant TV...

In this week’s episode of The Remnant Underground:

  • The sacking of Cardinal Burke sparks outrage from news networks all over the world.
  • Jewish economist, Jeffrey Sacks, goes off on Dr. Fauci’s Covid lies, denounces the Democrat Party, and charges Israel with war crimes.
  • Big trouble for Team Francis. Turns out, the pope’s Abu Dhabi dialogue partner is an enthusiastic supporter of … Hamas. Question: What is wrong with these guys, and how did they let this happen?
  • Plus, late night comedians are openly mocking Greta Thunberg, Elon Musk says George Soros fundamentally hates humanity, and Klaus Schwab says he’s going to turn the freeways of the world into parks. It’s all part of Globalism’s mad dash to LaLa Land.
  • And, finally, Happy Advent, not Merry Christmas…at least not yet. This year let’s turn holidays into Holy Days.

Episode One

In spite of the missionary zeal of the first Franciscan monks who arrived in Mexico at the beginning of the 16th century of the Christian era, few were those who converted to Christianity. The bloodthirsty Aztec gods, dominated by the legendary “feathered serpent,” Quetzalcoatl, were unwilling to lose their influence over the peoples who offered them approximately twenty thousand (20,000!) victims annually. After Captain Hernando Cortés was forced to leave the province, Bishop Juan de Zumárraga sadly witnessed the deterioration of the situation in the new territories.

St. Andrew's Novena Starts Today

By:

Compared by Saint John Chrysostom – in a downright poetic manner – to the auroral light of the morning, which heralds the approach of the moment when the sun itself appears to pour forth its light upon the world just emerging from darkness, Saint John the Baptist received, according to the words of Saint Jerome, the “honorable privilege” of preaching the Kingdom of God first. Indeed, the Gospel according to Matthew presents this crucial message as being conveyed for the first time by the greatest of the prophets of the Old Testament:

“And in those days cometh John the Baptist preaching in the desert of Judea. And saying: Do penance: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 3: 1-2).”

Among the biblical prophecies about cosmic events that will occur before the end of times, some mention the darkening of the sun. As expected, this sign is repeatedly mentioned in the Old Testament. The prophet Joel tells us, “the earth hath trembled, the heavens are moved: the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their shining” (Joel 2:10). In the book of the prophet Ezekiel, God Himself speaks, announcing the consequences of His Providential intervention in history:

“I will cover the heavens, when thou shalt be put out, and I will make the stars thereof dark: I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light” (Ezeckiel 32:7).

With Vatican II and its aftermath, God has permitted an unprecedented crisis in the Church which, in various ways, appears to conflict with common understandings of the Church’s indefectibility. Some faithful Catholics consider that the gravity of scandals from the post-Vatican II popes challenges that indefectibility, leading them to conclude that the Chair of Peter has been vacant since Pope Pius XII. Others, sharing the same general concerns, have concluded that a prolonged period without a pope would itself throw into question the Church’s indefectibility. Traditional Catholics have debated these issues for several decades, often vehemently.

In this episode of The Remnant Underground, Michael J. Matt takes on critics who charge Traditional Catholics with being no better than Martin Luther for resisting Pope Francis.

Do they have a point? Francis Fatigue is not reserved for Traditionalists, however. Catholic Argentina -- the pope's home country -- just elected a president who is probably Pope Francis's most outspoken critic in the world today. And he won his election with a Latin Mass Catholic as his running mate.

But it doesn't stop there. Trouble is reportedly brewing between the Vatican and the US Catholic Bishops Conference. Vatican nuncio, Cardinal Christophe Pierre, accuses the American bishops of dragging their feet on Synodality and the spirit of the Catacombs Pact.

Meanwhile, as Francis invites a busload of transexuals to have lunch with him in the Vatican, critics, including political commentator Dinesh D'Souza, accuses the Pontiff of confirming sinners in their lifestyle, rather than calling them to convert.

Is the Francis Revolution finally coming to an end?
