Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.

Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:

spadaro francis 678x375Fr. Spadaro and Pope Francis

On October 17, 2019, Antonio Spadaro SJ, published a blog on Medium, the blog platform created by Evan Williams, one of the founders of Twitter. Fr. Spadaro’s blog was an attempt to slather lipstick on a pig named Amazon Synod. The blog is titled: The Synod for the Amazon: from faith to politics, all is connected.

Fr. Spadaro is one of Pope Francis’ most aggressive apologists.

The blog is aptly named, as since Pope Francis and his advisors took control of the Vatican, they truly have attempted to connect everything to the faith, especially politics and the most worldly of concerns. The result has been a significant lowering of the trajectory of the mission of the Church, which though evident early in his pontificate, has become for focused after one week of the Amazon Synod.

On the famous Borgo Pio in Rome, LifeSiteNews co-founder John-Henry Westen interviews Remnant editor-in-chief Michael J. Matt.

Think the 'Unite the Clans' initiative is pie-in-the-sky nonsense? Well, think again! It's already happening.

Michael Matt reports on a major event that took place just across from the Vatican Press Office here in Rome this week: The launch of a new book-length interview of Bishop Athanasius Schneider that covers everything from the current pontificate, to Vatican II, to Archbishop Lefebvre's role in the resistance, to the Society of St. Pius X and even the role of Freemasonry.

People often complain that we need to "do something" about what’s happening in Rome. Well, here it is!

Reporting from Rome, Michael Matt addresses the fundamental problem with the Amazon Synod: The human element of the Church have become so diabolically disoriented that they really don't know what the Church is or was ever supposed to be.

They’ve abandoned the Divine Mandate to go out and convert all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Reporting from Rome, Michael hits maximum Amazon overload during his daily video report earlier this evening.

New from RTV in Rome: The Vatican jumps the shark

In the press hall today in Rome, an official spokesman for the Amazon Synod—Bishop Krautler—admitted, incredibly, that he wants women ordained as priests.

And as Michael Matt reports, this was AFTER the same bishop had told the press that the Amazon people can’t even begin to understand the concept of a celibate priesthood. Well of course they can’t, Excellency. (No racism here, of course!)

Reporting from Rome, Michael Matt breaks down the Day 2 press conference from the Amazon Synod.

One brave reporter asked the panel what's to be done about the fact that some twenty Amazon tribes still practice infanticide.

From Rome, Michael J. Matt reports on Day 1 of the Amazon Synod. After the first press conference in the Vatican press hall, Michael discusses a few of the blatant contradictions involved in the stated reasons for this Synod.

For example, the Vatican keeps insisting that the Synod is all about evangelization based on “synodal listening” to the people of the Amazon. But how does one evangelize people to whom one is supposedly listening and from whom one is learning?

If the wisdom of the Amazon can change the world, why do they need Francis to interfere?

Amazon here at last!

Michael Matt covers the celebration of the new cardinals in the Paul VI Audience Hall in Rome, just after what appeared to be earth worshipers in Vatican gardens helped Francis plant another pretty cool little tree.

Plus, another group of hundreds of Italians took to the streets today to pray the rosary and sing the Salve Regina in order to ask Our Lady to help derail the Amazon Schism.

New from Remnant TV in Rome

In the run-up to the Amazon Synod in Rome, Michael Matt addresses a group of young Catholics on the question of how to resist and unite in Catholic counterrevolution. This Voice of the Family conference included speakers Roberto de Mattei, John-Henry Westen, Cardinal Raymond Burke and several other prominent speakers, and was attended by many young people from Italy, the UK, the US etc.
