Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome

Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.

Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:

tess sketchThe majority of the faithful in China - 6 million Catholics - have refused to join the communist pseudo-church. (Sketch by Tess Mullins)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio likes to remind us that God is a God of surprises. I’ll say. The only thing that would have been more surprising than these last five years’ being the papal equivalent of Kingda Ka is if I had somewhere discovered a herd of wildebeests able to speak ancient Sumerian. Day after day, heresy after heresy… I confess, Dear Reader—during the Reign of Bergoglio, I have been powerfully surprised.

But let us not be stingy. We must give credit where credit is due. There is a lot, after all, for which we might thank His Holiness. This half-decade of reaching for the theological Dramamine has brought with it plenty of opportunities to think through some unexpected questions.

Some Surprising Answers...

I never thought I’d see the day when a preening, Internet-created neo-Catholic doyenne such as Simcha Fisher, as notorious as Mark Shea for her crude and often unprintable invective against traditionalists, would unload on Pope Bergoglio with the following headline:  “Does Francis know he sounds like an abuser?”

Fisher is rightly incensed by Bergoglio’s cunning response, “I will not say a single word on this,” concerning Archbishop Viganò’s damning indictment of Bergoglio’s rehabilitation of the monster once known as Cardinal McCarrick for some five years before adverse worldwide press coverage forced to him to punish that serial homosexual rapist of whose crimes Viganò had personally informed him back in 2013—information of which Bergoglio was clearly already aware at that time, as Viganò testifies.

Question: Do you think PA District Attorney Josh Shapiro is a friend of the Catholic Church? Remnant Underground's Michael J. Matt not only steps outside the box but also smashes it to bits as he analyses what's really going on with the clerical sex abuse crisis.

What is the Viganò Effect? How do Vatican II and the New Mass come into this? With the Catholic Church clearly occupied, should faithful Catholics just join the lynch mob? What's a faithful Catholic to do? There's more to this...much more. Watch this video and share it far and wide. (Includes video clips of Archbishop Viganò, Josh Shapiro and....Van Halen?)

EXPOSED! Vatican II & the Viganò Effect

On the Sorrow of Mary at the Sight of Her Beloved and Suffering Son

Editor’s Note: While witnessing the passion of the Mystical Body of Christ unfold before our eyes, let us not lose sight of the fact that this has all happened before, and that the witnesses to Our Lord’s passion two thousand years ago know exactly what we’re going through today. Magdalene, John, Veronica—they stood at the foot of the Cross and kept the Faith. They watched God suffer the ignominious execution by crucifixion and yet they never wavered.  At the center of their perseverance was Our Lady herself, the Stabat Mater, the mother of God and of us all.  Yes, the situation in the Church today is desperate, but it is not hopeless. We must not give in to despair. We cannot grow despondent. Like soldiers of Christ in terrible times past, we stand witness to Him and His true Church and we continue to believe. With this in mind, let us consider the following meditation by Rev. Karl Clemens, C.SS.R., on Our Lady of Sorrows, who suffered so much more than we can possibly imagine, as she watched her Son breathe His last breath and shed every last drop of His blood. Let us go to her now. MJM

Quietism and pious platitudes simply won't do this time, since all that is necessary for the Modernists to triumph over the Church is for faithful Catholics to remain silent...  --Michael J. Matt

Editor's Note: If the following testimony is painful to read, just imagine how painful it must have been to write. Father has asked that his name be withheld from our readers, but not from me.  I've known this good and holy priest for  many years, and I know that his testimony is absolutely true. God help us, I wish it were otherwise.   MJM

We were young—very young; we were innocent—quite innocent; and we all had something else in common: we wanted to be priests. At the tender age of thirteen and right out of grade school, I and 40 other teen kids with a calling left home to explore the possibility that we might have a vocation to the priesthood. The seminary was remote and far away and we had few occasions to visit family. I remember my father remarking as he dropped me off at the seminary, “Looks like a prison.” It was that--and worse!

There are a lot of things about what is happening now to be glad about. These mostly involve things that are now becoming more widely known and understood by believing Catholics that had previously been obscure. Taken together they are creating what could be termed “paradigmatic” changes – shifts of whole ways of thinking, a framework or paradigm for understanding the issues becoming clear.

New from The Remnant Underground...

new mike vigano pope

Just before Season 6 of The Remnant Underground gets underway, Michael Matt checks in from the set of a new RTV program to comment on the 'scandal of the century'--credible charges leveled by a Vatican diplomat against top authorities in the Church--including Pope Francis--alleging an orchestrated cover-up for the sexual pervert and now-disgraced Theodore Cardinal McCarrick. While Francis refuses to answer the charges and neo-Catholics attempt to 'shoot the messenger', Michael asks the questions: What are they so afraid of? Why are they trying to block a formal investigation of these credible accusations? What are they trying to hide, and for how long have they been trying to put one over on the Catholic people?

Leave the homosexual clerics in place. Fear the young neo-traditionalists. Stop the restoration...

Introduction

This article was first written to address the neo-Catholic commentator Massimo Faggioli’s attempt, following the Pennsylvania grand jury report and the fall of ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, to minimize the homosexual crisis in the Church and blunt the correlative rise of what he derides as “neo-traditionalism.” As my piece was about to go to press, however, EWTN’s National Catholic Register broke the explosive story on the written testimony of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former apostolic nuncio to the United States (2011 to 2016).  Faggioli’s propaganda piece now becomes merely illustrative of the points to be made here in light of this astonishing and indeed providential development.

In his eleven-page account, affirmed under oath, the Archbishop, marking a turning point in Church history, declares that senior Vatican officials, including former Secretaries of State Angelo Sodano and Tarcisio Bertone as well as Cardinal Óscar Andrés Rodríguez Maradiaga, coordinator of Pope Bergoglio’s “Council of Cardinals”, covered up McCarrick’s decades of sexual predation and that Bergoglio himself continued the coverup.

A YouTubeNew from RTV...

RTV's 'Sunday Sermons from South St. Paul' addresses the true, demonic nature of sexual/power abuse in the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, as well as the cover-up campaign that’s been going on for decades. In another courageous sermon, this diocesan priest uses his own experiences with predators in the seminary to corroborate Archbishop Vigano accusations against bishops, cardinals and Pope Francis.
