The Remnant Will Never Forget
The Remnant devotes this section of our exclusively to testimonies by those who lived through the revolution of the Second Vatican Council.
This page is reserved for those who saw what happened, or heard what happened from those who did, and who truly understand how Catholic families were blown apart. Visitors who have personal reflections, or memories of traditionalists pioneers, or reminicences of the revolution are encouraged to tell their stories and share their pictures here. . . so that we will never forget.
RTV Covers Vatican Sex Abuse Summit in Rome
Remnant TV was in Rome this past week covering the Vatican’s clerical sexual abuse summit on the “protection of minors”. It seemed a dismal assignment, to be sure, but the reason it was necessary for The Remnant to be in the Eternal City was so we could throw in with our traditional Catholic allies in Rome who’d organized an act of formal resistance to the Vatican sham summit.
Going in, we all knew that the ultimate goal of the summit was to establish child abuse—not rampant homosexuality in the priesthood—as the main cause of a crisis in the Catholic Church which now rivals that of the Protestant Revolt. (Remnant TV coverage of this event as well as the Vatican summit itself, can be found on The Remnant’s YouTube channel, and for your convenience is laid out below:View items...

In this RTV Short, Michael Matt interviews the director of The Roman Forum, Dr. John Rao, successor of the late, great Dr. Dietrich von Hildebrand. The Roman Forum is an organization dedicated to the broad defense of Catholic doctrine and Catholic culture. It was founded in 1968 in the wake of Humanae vitae by the great philosopher, Professor Dietrich von Hildebrand (1889-1977), whom Pope Pius XII called “the twentieth century Doctor of the Church”.
As Michael Matt highlighted in a recent Remnant Underground, some of the most persuasive thinkers in the secular world (most notably, Tucker Carlson) have started to describe today’s mounting worldwide crisis in terms of a spiritual battle. Such realizations of themselves do not necessarily lead souls to the truth, but they provide opportunities for Catholics to help more people see that the only path out of this crisis is to embrace the immutable Catholic Faith.

In this episode of The Remnant Underground, Michael Matt comments on the unprecedented FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s home in Florida. What’s going on here, and who’s behind what history will surely describe as one of the most embarrassing scandals in US political history?

In this Spotlight, Michael Matt makes a guest appearance on Newsmax, and encounters another hopeful development regarding mainstream resistance against the radical leftist agenda of Pope Francis.
But wait, there's more! Francis is signaling his intent to undermine Pope Paul VI's Humanae Vitae.
We have all heard by now the Pew study taken back in 2018, which shows that 69% of all self-identified Catholics said that they believe the bread and wine used at Mass are not Jesus, but instead “symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ,” —thereby becoming, in effect, Protestants who deny the Eucharistic Truth of the Real Presence. So, I am assuming that the great majority of Catholics go to communion with nary a concern for how they have lived their lives since the last time they went to confession—if they ever do—or if they even really practice, or attempt to practice their Catholic faith, which also accounts for the nonexistent confession lines in so many churches. Do they refuse to sully their souls with sexual license, etc.? But in the same way, a Gallup study states that about 68 percent of Catholic women use a highly effective method of “abortifacient” birth control, meaning hormonal methods like the Pill, the injectable Depo-Provera, and the IUD—or sterilization like the family pet. So, these are most likely the same brand of Catholics who saunter up in the communion line to receive our Lord, like it is some sort of conga line of “everybody is doing it” sort of thing. I mean, what the heck, they are in good company with such “exemplary” Catholics as Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden, and the other politicians who have no concern with how their Catholic faith might be a stumbling block to the wanton murder of the unborn in abortion.

In this edition of The Remnant Underground, Michael Matt takes a look at current events, including Monkeypox, the crisis in Sri Lanka, and the Great Reset’s war on famers in the Netherlands.
“And Peter going down out of the boat, walked upon the water to come to Jesus. But seeing the wind strong, he was afraid: and when he began to sink, he cried out saying: Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretching forth His hand took hold of him, and said to him: O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt?” (Matthew 14:29-31)
When Fr. Marie-Dominique Molinié, O.P. preached the 1953 retreat (to Dominican nuns) that forms the basis for his recently translated The Courage to Be Afraid, he did not know of the strong winds that would begin to rock the barque of Christ a decade later at Vatican II. It may seem odd, then, to present a short subchapter from that book as holding much of the explanation, and even more of the cure, for the great crisis in the Church today. But God does not change, so a profoundly insightful analysis of the ways in which He tries to bring us back to Him can be far more profitable than any novel ideas about how we should solve the present crisis (which has been caused precisely because the false shepherds have relied upon novel ideas).

Over the course of the past few years, Michael Matt has been calling on mainstream conservative voices to finally admit that every crisis we face today -- culturally and politically -- is a consequence of our society's declared war against God.
The Left is at war on us because the Left is at war with God.
The Left is at war with the unborn because the Left is at war with the Author of Life.
The Left is at war with law and order because the Left is at war with the Ten Commandments of God.
And the sooner we "get real" about this, the sooner we will come up with the tools needed to defeat the agents of chaos who are at war with us, the family, and God Himself.
Michael Matt has called on men such as Tucker Carlson, for example, to use their considerable influence to wake the masses to the fact that until Christ's kingship is proclaimed, the world will continue to languish in war and chaos.
The good news? A couple of days ago, Tucker Carlson declared that spiritual war on the Godless Left.
In this excerpt from the latest Remnant Underground, Michael uses the Carlson declaration to drive home the traditionalist argument regarding a counterrevolution that LEADS with God rather than merely tolerating Him as a nice thing to talk about on Sunday mornings in America.
The spiritual war is on. Unite the clans!

Whether you're Catholic or not, this is a must-see! Here's the Chartres Cathedral as you've rarely seen it.
A part of the upcoming RTV documentary, "Guardian of Tradition," RTV cameras take us deep inside the 12th Century gothic jewel -- the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres.
While many Catholics were distressed to see pagan rituals being performed at Australia’s Plenary Assembly, most are unaware of the proliferation of indigenous spirituality within the Catholic school system. Australian dioceses are quietly using formal programs to indoctrinate young children in the ways of indigenous spirituality, while simultaneously destroying their Christian faith.
