Viganò on 2020 Pontifical Yearbook: Did Pope Francis abandon the title 'Vicar of Christ'?
TRANSLATIONS:
Portuguese
“YOU HAVE SAID SO”
“Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”
And they were very sorrowful, and began to say to him one after another,
“Is it I, Lord?” He answered, “He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me, will betray me.
The Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed!
It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”
Judas, who betrayed him, said, “Is it I, Master?”
He said to him, “You have said so.”
Mt 26, 20-25
On March 25, the 2020 Pontifical Yearbook was published with a real novelty. It may seem like a typographical trifle, in the part dedicated to the reigning pontiff, but this is not the case. Until last year, in fact, Francis’s titles were listed at the top of the page, beginning with “Vicar of Christ”, “Successor of the Prince of the Apostles” etc., and ending with his birth name and a very brief biography.
WILL THE ITALIAN CHURCH EVER RISE AGAIN? (Abp. Viganò on Government prohibition of Masses and Pope's call for obedience)
ROME — As Italy and the United States begin to open up in the wake of Covid-19, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has said he believes a widespread disinformation campaign is now underway, and the crisis is providing for some an excellent opportunity to restrict people’s freedoms.
He is therefore urging bishops not to succumb to civil or ecclesial pressure, but to take back their role as leaders and use the authority they have from Christ to provide the Sacraments and the celebration of the Mass to the faithful.

No Country for Bold Men
As the betrayal in Afghanistan unfolded over the past few gut-wrenching weeks, people from all political persuasions began to demand answers. “Someone has to take responsibility for abandoning Americans to be raped, tortured, enslaved, and murdered by the Taliban,” the country cried out. “The people running the State Department, Pentagon, White House (whoever that mystery person happens to be), and Democrat-media-complex must be held to account.”
Vatican Newspaper Forbids Dissenting from Dissent
L’Osservatore Romano has published an article criticizing “dissent in the form of public criticism” of Pope Francis’s apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia.
Father Salvador Pié-Ninot, a theologian from Barcelona, analyzed such criticism in light of Donum Veritatis, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’s 1990 instruction on the ecclesial vocation of the theologian.
Describing Amoris Laetitia as a non-definitive exercise of the ordinary Magisterium, Father Pié-Ninot quotes Donum Veritatis in stating that its teachings, even “if they are not guaranteed by the charism of infallibility, are not without divine assistance and call for the adherence of the faithful.”
After reviewing the section of Donum Veritatis devoted to “the problem of dissent” (nos. 32-41), Father Pié-Ninot wrote that “the confrontation between the Magisterium, in this case papal, and a theological interpretation that dissents, is not a simple conflict between two opinions.” READ MORE HERE.
Population Control, Abortion, Global Government: Just Another Day at the Vatican
The bottom line is that the invited speakers at this conference include various climate alarmists who zealously preach the pretext of man-made climate change to justify their agenda of population control (including birth control and abortion) which must be carried out by global governance in order to save the planet.

Toni McCarthy: Evolution of Deceit and the Vengeance of the God of Genesis...
"Thanks to the unprecedented upheaval in Church teaching which occurred as a result of the Vatican II Council, the Genesis account has been relegated to the status of a story and as mere poetry by theologians who favor the theory of “theistic” evolution and who religiously proclaim the wonders of modern science. The result is a devastation. A devastation that has culminated with the situation we endure today: A Pope who openly misrepresents and insults our Lord and His Word. “Outrages, sacrileges and indifferences” as described by the holy angel to the children of Fatima.” --Toni McCarthy

Synod to Wrap with LGBT Vote
From AP yesterday:
The monthlong synod of bishops ends next Saturday with the adoption by the 260-plus cardinals, bishops and priests of a final document and approval of a separate, shorter letter to the world’s Catholic youth.
Some of the youth delegates to the meeting have insisted that the final document express an inclusive message to make LGBT Catholics feel welcome in a church that has often shunned them.
The Vatican took a step in that direction by making a reference to “LGBT” for the first time in its preparatory document heading into the meeting.
But some bishops have balked at the notion, including Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput, who insisted in his speech that “there is no such thing as an ‘LGBTQ Catholic’ or a ‘transgender Catholic’ or a ‘heterosexual Catholic,’ as if our sexual appetites defined who we are.”
But other bishops have expressed a willingness to use the language, though it remains to be seen if the final document or the letter will. Each paragraph will be voted on one by one and must obtain a two-thirds majority.
“The youth are talking about it freely and in the language they use, and they are encouraging us ‘Call us, address us this because this is who we are,’” Papua New Guinea Cardinal John Ribat told a press conference Saturday.

The investigation and arrest was made by the special police section set up by the government of Beijing to watch over Chinese national security, that is, to suppress any form of dissent or protest over the violations of human rights committed by the Chinese dictatorship.
